Time to take the plunge?11 Jul 2019 11:20
Been watching this for a while now...it feels like the time to take a plunge might be near...everything seems to be in place to drive some proper revenue...
32.75p? Beginners luck? Timed it right? And you have the audacity to question other people who "told you so"? You have been had and you don't even know it!
A genuine tip for you - try to focus on your investment choices and react to what is happening as you go rather than 1970's kids shows and you might do a little better.
"A growing amount..obviously!"
This statement does not pay the bills or sustain the SP. The market needs to know how much of this undoubtedly, potentially lucrative industry will end up in bidstacks bank.
I have not read anything that questions the credibility of Lumen or the content of the report.
I have read that a complaint was made to the AIM regulators regarding how the report was presented to the market by bids. It appears that the regulators of AIM agreed with the complaint and asked bids to clarify.
"What obsevations do you and the gang have on these RNS`s?"
The most obvious observation and one that all shareholders should be asking;
HOW MUCH IS ALL THIS WORTH TO BIDS IN CASH?
"We all know that without the trash talking by TW along with you and the gang the share price would have held up better than it did."
Strange how we all have different views? I thought the SP was more influenced by;
Lack of revenue
Lack of clarity of the value of contracts
Uncertainty of cash position
Unclear communications from the BOD
Lies by the BOD
Lack of trust in the BOD
My "nonsensical observations" appear to have proven correct so far. How have your predictions from 35p done?
Bottmzup has been spewing his chart predictions and other rubbish all the way down from 35P. Anyone who questioned him was an idiot or had a hidden agenda apparently. He pretends that he has blocked these people but always seems to answer them.
So here we are at 7p, 80% down from his first insulting posts to anyone who understood back then just how absolutely clueless he is and he is still accusing them of having an agenda or not knowing what they are talking about.
Time has proven him wrong, any one with confidence in bids can buy in at 20% of his first ramp yet still he persists.
Mart
I have not commented on the credibility of the survey. I’m sure Lumen are a reputable company. If you look at my comments you will see that I found the RNS good news.
I have merely explained what TW’s beef with how it was presented, what he did about it and the reason for today’s clarification.
Yatak
2004? Are you still looking for your dad? Sorry but I’m not him. Good luck kiddo!
Gurty
Take a chill pill big boy, is only a bit of rhetorical banter. You have an angry rant at me and he calls me an old man so I give you both some back. If either of you are seriously offended let me know and I will up my game!
Seriously Girdz/ Yatak, if you are offended I will stop. It’s in no way meant to offend either of you.
Thank you for your concern over my finances but I can assure you that I am fine and the kids will be more than ok when I pop it.
I am not getting in to another slanging match over this but will attempt to explain for those that really dont understand. The rest of you just looking to argue black is white do not need to respond;
If the first RNS had used a description like "Survey commissioned on behalf of" it would be accurate and clear. Because they used the phrase "independent" and then paid the "independent company" for the service some people may view a conflict of interest between the survey company and their client.
You can complain and accuse all you like but it was clearly misleading which is why Bids have released an RNS today to clear this up, a few days after TW reported the matter.
Yatak
Does your mum know you are talking to adults online?
Having a go at me is a fantastic response to learning that your CEO tried to deceive you again Sports! It really solves your problems.
TW reported that he had complained to the AIM regulators that the study could not be independent if bids had paid for it. He asked for clarification which it looks like JD has been forced to do.
All the abuse handed out to those of us that reported on what TW said? You have been proven wrong again! TW has been 100% correct on bids so far and proven a far more reliable commentator on the company's position that the CEO has been.
Old
I’m not sure how you check
Yatak
He made a lot more than a denial. I have no idea if he is right or wrong or if the web article about him is right or wrong but they are both interesting reads especially if you hold shares here.
Grit
I read his article, that’s how I know he made and is making further investigations. Really not rocket science!
I have never met, spoken to or communicated with TW but don’t let that stop you pretending!
PROPS
TW has made an investigation on this article. He reports today it is untrue and that the author is not who they say they are. He names who he thinks is the true author (a contributor/ ramper to bb’s on bids) and that they have subsequently removed their LinkedIn profile that had links to the CEO of bids. Further links are being investigated!
Very murky business all round. It is worth a listen/ read as the article and podcast sounds very credible.
My day was good thank you mart. It was similar to yours by the sounds of it. Gym with my son, gardening with my wife, cooking with my daughter and a pint over Zoom with friends. I even found time to make 4 posts on here the same as you.
My 4 posts and point of view was apparently trolling though where as your 4 was posting?
And because you are no longer fuming at the CEO no one else is allowed be?
Have a little world with yourself mart and try to be civil and accept other people can also express a point of view like I asked you to do the other day.
There is another interesting article by TW on yours and similar rampers accusations and bids behaviour tonight Hived. It is worth a read, you guys don't sound so squeaky clean in it!
Sorry mart, your answer was not clear?
When is it acceptable to criticise the CEO? Only when you are not happy? Or can people also do it when they are not happy?
Another of your "acceptable" critiques of the BOD;
RE: Competition16 Dec 2019 17:16
Businesses on AIM owe their existence to shareholders and in return shareholders deserve to be treated reasonably, and I think that would include reasonable care to protect shareholders capital by managing messages to market. BIDS shares have been in freefall and so therefore has our capital. So it's hard not to feel that BIDS have been borderline negligent about in not addressing this with appropriate PR or comment.
"borderline negligent "? A lesson to us all in de-ramping there mart!
So to be clear mart
It is ok for you to criticise the CEO when you want to but no one else is allowed to when they want to?
Mr Nation
You played this perfectly buying in at 3p. I held off due to the threat of imminent placement and possible dilution which has not yet happened.
I may very well buy back in once the funding is clarified. I think JD needs to do this sooner rather than later while the SP is still holding up. If he does I don’t think I will manage to buy in at your price. Well done!
What am I positive about? The market/tech has great potential.
What am I cautious about? How much in £££ is that potential actually worth to bids? Cash position.
Apologies mart, it appears I had you all wrong. I couldn't make a better summary than mart did in his posts pre-ramping days.
What has changed since then?
RE: Rns18 Dec 2019 07:13
Yep, there is absolutely no way JD should have sold 400 grands worth of shares knowing what's coming.
If this is his definition of giving shareholders a happy Christmas ... how to burn your bridges with shareholders.
Does sound like there are significant games in the pipeline but to leave this to the week before xmas - what a @#%&.
RE: plan progress05 Dec 2019 16:01
I don't like the cult-like shutting down of anything that questions whether all may not be perfect at BIDS.
Between whimsical posts about allotments and now we're going to spend our millions when BIDS becomes a unicorn, and finishing posts with copied BIDS hashtags, it's ok to question whether things can be done better. There is a lot of fanboyism on here, or so it comes across.
We all own a small part of the business, and it's alright to hold the business to account and ask questions? Yet anything other than blind optimism is called deramping.
I'd recommend the podcast The Missing Crypto Queen to see how hype and hope can muddy the mind and people can lose everything in investing in unquestioning blind faith in a person or idea.
The fact is throughout the year BIDS have systematically put in place what they think they need to succeed. They have secured some blinding deals. And have some employees and advisers with cracking CVs.
But none of us have got a scooby what kind of commercial deals we have, what revenue is being generated, exactly what they mean when they say they are executing, or even basics like what the plans are for next year. We dont even know what target they are working to this year, just an assumption it's the Peterhouse figures. We don't know what JD had in his mind when he said he hoped to give us a good xmas. We have a very superficial understanding and no idea what's going on inside the company.
I first bought in around 13p, then 19p and topped up later too, and havnt sold a bean. But I recognise right now it's somewhat of a gamble based on faith that James Draper is an honest man. One thing is for sure, if they dont deliver his reputation will be toast. I dont like the fact that I dont have enough information to make fact based decisions, and I'm forced to either sell at a loss or sit tight in hope. I am taking the latter route bit hope it wont be something I live to regret.
Good luck all.
Mart
I do not know anything about people shouting abuse or throwing rocks. Is that another lie?
If I reported to my shareholders in early August (like JD did) that “we are on track” to hit £1.7m H1 then only produce £30k and £6m YE and only produce £150k they would do far more than complain on a bb. I would be fired immediately. How does JimmyD get away with it? Answer; you lot keep justifying his actions.
Is this JD telling a clear lie? Or is it just incompetence that the CEO did not know he had already missed H1 target by such a huge amount?
Now you can either answer (which you will be unable to) or attempt to character assassinate me again (which you have also been unable to do). Or you can fantasise about who I am again?
mart
Lets try to be civil this time?
I agree that if TW is lying/ manipulating he needs taken to task but he has also reported many truths about bids that they would not want repeating so they are stuck (in my opinion).
They would be far better off by handling situations in an honest, clear and up front way directly with shareholders.
We all know the market has potential but how much of it are bids getting?
I don’t see how exposing TW (if true) alters the facts that the CEO is not trusted because he is a liar, the company has not performed in line with its promises, has not produced a trading update, has not clarified the funding position or a detailed an inventory.
The exposure of TW’s motives may well have merit (it reads like it has) but posting it on here is a mere deflection of the company’s inadequate performance.
