GGP Shorts Status23 Feb 2022 00:35
As of today our dearly beloved shorters :O) (can't wait till they have to go Long :O)
Now stand at a total of 49.26 m shares on loan, out which we know that JPM have a declared an interest of 20.23M, the remainder of 29.03m belongs to whom exactly?
Surely, we must be getting close as to whom the remainders are, unless it is a group of HNWI individuals each with a share of less than 0.1%? , ie 7 groups??
Now, that 29.03m represents some 0.7% of total issued shares, Who are they or who is it?
Cannot be one single entity as they would have had to report as such with the FCA, except if they were a market maker?
https://www.fca.org.uk/markets/short-selling/exemptions-requirements
"Under the UK SSR, there are certain exemptions for market-making activities and primary market operations.
This means certain firms don’t have to disclose net short positions – both private and public - they may have in financial instruments admitted to trading on UK trading venues.
These exemptions also apply to requirements relating to entering into uncovered short positions in shares, sovereign debt and sovereign credit default swaps."
All very interesting , but will ever find out whom thet are and why?
All an academic exercise in reality, but one fact that can never be denied, is that we all know that Havieron's resources of Gold & Copper are IMHO going to be spectacular, and maybe that's the real reason why there is a current lid by others on releasing the data right now, because of fears of a takeover challenge be it for NCM or NCM/GGP?
All IMHO of course, something is most certainly brewing in the background. I'm holding and adding when I can as I honestly believe that we have a share of a resource that the cash rich 'Big Guys' want to steal from us, at any cost be it by unethical means or whatever way they can.
GLA, and hold onto your shares.
