88 Energy Ltd will manage the drilling of the initial
test well in the Western Blocks on behalf of the joint
venture and consortium partners. Since year end a
rig contract has been signed. Given that the location
is only accessible through an ice road, drilling will be
undertaken during the winter operational months
once the Alaska North Slope is opened for operations.

The meeting is on the 15th, so that would be an appropriate time to return.

21M traded of which 11M are BUYS, and the SP has hardly tanked has it. All companies need cash for future projects and ongoing expenses, and DW has always been prudent with shareholder funds. We have FOUR projects on the go that require ongoing maintenance and development.

You and a number of others always see the negatives. Let's see what the take up of the offer brings. In the pat they have always been oversubscribed.

"Execute a planned Farm-Out" and "The time is right to deal" - not my words but contained in previous presentations.

POO is now $85 per barrel compared with $29 in January 2016.

88E is an exploration company and NOT a production company. DW is busy proving up our assets, ready to sell to the highest bidder.

Icewine Conventional, alone, has 1.75B barrels of resource backed by 3D. A planned Farm-Out will be executed by YE 2018. The HRZ will also be FO'd in 2019. WINX is due to spud Q1 2019 and more news is expected from YG in Q4 2018.

We are selling the land with a provenance - 1-2 years max.

It is well worth revisiting DW's comments regarding the future of the HRZ:

The suspension operation has been designed to maximise flexibility for the future use of the wellbore, including the drilling of a horizontal side-track with a multi-stage stimulation.

The Joint Venture believes that the flowback data, combined with results to date from core and logs, demonstrates that the HRZ is comparable to other early-stage commercial unconventional plays and that, as per those plays, progressing to horizontal appraisal wells is now the best use of time and money.

The decision to discontinue flow testing at this point in time was undertaken for many reasons, including:

An internal belief that a more significant work program is now required to meaningfully de-risk the HRZ play further and that the data obtained to date is sufficient to attract a farm-in partner to undertake this program. This is consistent with the natural progression of development in all other unconventional resource plays.

IMHO DW's comments at the end are positive for both Icewine Conventional and the HRZ.

"The agreement with ASRC in relation to the western leases is significant as they are partly covered by several prospects that are in our current conventional farm-out package. We would like to thank ASRC for the opportunity to partner with them in this area.

Additionally, the Central Fairway acquisition has delivered additional acres close to the road and pipeline that are considered prospective for both the HRZ and conventional plays."
