* No guarantees that a deal would be done but would be weeks rather than months
* RNS 20th March 2019 - A further announcement will be made in due course on the outcome of the ongoing negotiations, which are currently confidential in nature.
* AGM 15th April 2019
* ?????????

IMHO, horse trading has been underway for up to two months with a COMPLETE NEWS EMBARGO. C'mon Dave, this is the brightest position we have been in and the SP is 0.8p.

* There is a total news blackout for obvious reasons, and the longer this goes the more involved the FO negotiations become in terms of time and cost to both parties

This is a long term project to drill for TWO BILLION barrels of oil. The future profits could be colossal, so both Farmor and Farmee want the best deal they can get.

We ALL have our guesstimates as to the preferred bidder, and the favourite must be COP. Personally, given what happened with OSH/Armstrong, I prefer to keep an open mind.
