IMHO with the Confidential nature of the negotiations and the potential impact on the SP, I wouldn't be surprised if a TH was imposed on both AIM and ASX this time around.

If our preferred bidder is a recognisable "big boy", then the SP will rocket!

I tend to believe DW when he said it was a matter of weeks and not months. They will want to get drilling plans in place, so time is of the essence.

I am expecting an Announcement in May, but what do I know!

Here is the crux from 20th March:

"88 Energy Ltd's Managing Director, Dave Wall, commented: "The progression of the farm-out process to the preferred bidder phase is encouraging but no deal is done until it is done."

IMHO, they are taking a very long time NOT to do a deal. The preferred bidder would have submitted their proposition in January before the deadline. All in all, we are looking at 3 months from 3D Inversion, 2 months from bid to acceptance and two months so far before a deal is done.

The outcome must be getting close - are you in or out???

All will be revealed soon Lti! I am only repeating the kind of figures that have been quoted in Presentations.

We have paid out a lot of cash for 3d - $6-8M and other costs, so it would make sense for our partner to share those costs given the readiness of the Conventional project.

DW is NOT going to give the company away.

Given the impending FO completion and what has happened in the past, it could happen very quickly Phrontist!

2 FO's, 4B barrels, Tier 1 partner/s - if they all come off our shares will be sought after.

Cash up front, no future drilling costs and 30% of future profits.

It's ALL guesswork, but I am sufficiently confident to wait it out!

Why do you think that we have a preferred bidder for the Conventional after six months of Data Room access?

In October 2018, Conventional 3D inversion was completed and the Resource Estimate was INCREASED to 2.2B barrels. This seemed to go unnoticed by the many, but NOT serious FO bidders.

You can only spell out things so many times!

I think that most investors will bale around the 3p mark.

This are 4B barrels of hydrocarbons waiting to come out of the ground, but only the really good poker players will make lots of spondies IMHO.

It all depends whether you have the cahonas to hold rather than to fold!

You are so cynical D45 - what happened?

I have as much reason as anybody to be resentful of the downward spiral of the SP. At very regular intervals, Lefkosia takes great pleasure at regular intervals in pointing out how much money I could have made when the SP reached nearly 4p.

Like everyone, I have had my doubts whether this would come in. IMHO, the current SP is at bargain basement and TWO FO's will see us move forward quickly.

I hope so anyway!

There are plenty of invstors that have bigger holdings than that D45.

I have been here since March 2015, when 88E was a fledgling company.

We have come a very long way since Icewine 1, and are moving closer to the end game. By the end of 2019, we will have Farmed Out both Icewine Conventional and the HRZ. DW will NOT give the company away, so expect some very hard bargaining with a high quality Farminee.

There is NO time limit on an FO deal, however OSH/Armstrong completed in eight months.

At the end of April, we will have been at it for six, and as you said DW did say "a matter of weeks"

Hold on to your hats - it will happen, and the anticipation is doing my head in!

I too am a pragmatist, and believe that DW has spent too much time and effort to let himself and us down now.

The longer the FO negotiations go the better IMHO. Three months from 3D Inversion to close of bids, two months to select a preferred bidder and since March the dotting of I's and crossing of T's.

The secrecy and confidentiality will soon be over mis amigo.
