Can't make head or tail out of todays trading. Anybody got any idea whats going on here?

Looks like interest continues in this one with a good few punters on the buy side. Had another little top up meself this morning to build up me holding a bit more.

It's doing well this one. Think I'll hang around a bit longer here as I have a reasonable wedge of these and news on the highly rated Irish licences should really give this a mighty rerate.

Oreilly says field is economic at 40 dollars a barrel.

Hi Algu. I have a small tranche of PVR as well! I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in it I was hoping it would be in the low twenties at least by now. I was thinking about our earlier exchange and I reckon I would not sell all mine in one fell swoop. I have about 25% of them in a SIPP, so I would probably leave these till last, holding for the best possible price. Would be an idea to sell some before 5th April to split the capital gain over two tax years?

Yeah... probably right there. The other joker in the pack is the wells that will be drilled on the eastern flank of the discovery which will assess the possibility of an Early Production System. Obviously that could potentially get some cash coming in the door in fairly short order.I'm going to be watching the outcomes with interest. And thete could be some surprises along the way!

Thanks for spotting that Manyana and sharing it. I guess that the first bit of news we can expect is the mobilisation of the Ocean Observer which I presume is pretty soon once it has concluded the survey offshore of Sannessen in Nordic waters. I suppose an RNS will follow regarding successful permit for the actual drill, and subsequent news flow around contract awards and mobilisation. I can't help wishing that some directors buys would come to pass here and at PVR as I feel that would really put a rocket under the SP during a fsirly quiet period...

Hi Algu...Sorry about delay in reply. I have not decided my exit price. Different punters suggest 10p 15p 20p as representing the true worth of one logp share. I have been here as long as you...Pre 2012. I sold out most of my shares at a hefty loss but have bought back in serious quantity and I have about a million at average 1.6p. So if I sold at 11.6p I would pocket about 100k clear profit. The outcome of the deeper resevoir drills could give this a serious uplift of course. So I will keep an eye on progress of the drill. A takeover is also a possibility which would be interesting. I'm going to keep adding so that I can create a little extra pot for a bit of trading along the way I think.

More like 20p imo...and thats without the potential exploration upside.

Exactly my position. Sell now and book a profit...then buy back for a hell of a lot more. Makes no sense if you are a believer in long term scenario.. A good day again!
