Not a conspiracy theory. It’s simply how they manage their books. They also widen the spread quite often to discourage trading while they fill an order. Once you are aware of how they operate you can avoid being taken advantage of imho. But if you prefer to think they operate like a machine where the price just reflects buying and selling pressure that’s fine

the MMs often drop the price to scare PIs into selling so that they have fresh shares to sell when they spike the price up...but if they drop the price too low they will get an influx of buyers....which they dont want. So they drop it just enough so us PIs think there is an ongoing downtrend, and that other people know more than us, and so we well up...very clever psychology imho

As suspected and mentioned time and time again, looks like PHE/NHS contract could be coming our way. Also FDA and USA EUA looks like job done, or almost done!. Documents leaked..... Time to load up and rerate to fair value!!

we need a good ramp Ihavenoclue...its been depressing here lol.....I am lucky in that I am only 30% down on GDR but I still think we will do well. Trouble is I might be tempted to "snatch" some of my investment out of this share rather than let it run because of my immense lack of faith in the mgt...still a chance would be a fine thing lol

#GDR Great News from USA.

Government has awarded $129 million yesterday to increase lab capacity further. This includes Aegis and Sonic Health care, both companies will be using Beckman Coulter High Throughput kit!!!

at least he was man enough to snatch success from the jaws of defeat

many CEOs dont...they stick with their plan and cost us all money. He must have shat himself when he realised the sales forecasts were nonsense

I actually have confidence that the channel strategy will work and be succesfull

My issue is with mgt telling us they will update us on sales...and dont (because there arent any), and then saying they have a million pounds letter of intent (do they really?) and then failing to update us in the timeframe that they themselves chose.

GDR sales and marketing (and communication) have proven themselves to be amateur at best...common with lots of "tech" companies...so bypassing them, going for channels, or even selling the company are the only ways to monetise the assets...which we are now doing...So I am fully on board and full of hope actually

GDR cant sell directly...fact. They have morphed into a channel strategy selling via partners. The margins will be lower via channels, but the volumes will more than compensate hopefully...or we are f@cked here

no a collaboration with Beckman mitigates the need for sales...fully supportive of that initiative. But the monkeys in charge at GDR told us they would update us on sales...maybe 2 months ago now??? There are none...even the letters of intent have died a death

But Beckman is the hope I agree...without that we would be down the pan imho

its also a good sign that he has sold other investments in his ISA in order to buy his SHI shares. I infer from that he expects SHI to outperform his previous investment choices

Nasdaq listing has been poor for TILS. MMs have taken opportunity to arbitrage between the 2 markets and price has subsequently been under pressure
