Noveckingood....HL is beset with issues. For the last 6 months they display wrong prices throughout the day. According to their client services manager Julia Woodrow this is OK because it is within the contract terms. AVOID if you want to trade

Totally agree. Anything could have happened here. Too much risk for me too. I was lucky with tils. My eldest son put me onto them ages ago so my average was about 106 until last week. I bought quite a few more last week and might buy more this week. Anything under 150 is the bargain of the century imho. 1 month and we will nearly double our money is my guess. And it is a guess lol

@shareoursuccess....shorters thrive in a share where the board are in a closed period/ cant communicate. Once we announced we had 5 NDAs in place it was an open goal for them. Now that there is a published timeline they will have no option but to close their positions. So it will be volatile over the next month imho BUT the trajectory is definitely up until end Oct (just my reading of the situation I admit)

What I have learned is to sell out of any share once the shorters get busy. They always seem to succeed in driving the price down...and I will get a better price later. I have seen this with PMO/ TLW/ MTRO/ BOO to name but a few. I am up 25% in BOO (and more to come with next weeks results) in about a month...all because of that damning Guardian report into Leicester working practices in the BOO supply chain.

TILS imho is the same now...shorters drove it down (because they could!)...Winnifrith even went public and said he was going to short TILS), and now they have to exit and it will rise.

The exception (for me) is Muddywaters..when they short something they are usually correct (NMC/ BUR). I got out of NMC (luckily for me) but many of my friends didnt.

I believe it all to be true...not sure of 70% acceptance...might be 66%. I got raped by PE as Union suggest on Paysafe...I made 230%...they made 650%. Its all relative. The big II investors will want their pound of flesh too...so they will negotiate hard if a takeover is in the offing

I meant it to mean....its not that bad, lets not worry about a CD/R takeover at a low price because it cant happen, just sit and wait and possibly buy more...it cant go bust, the strategy is a simple one to enact...so we will get more for our shares in the future for definite!

so IF we think we are getting shafted by CD/ R with them giving us "only" 60p within next 12 months I will drop my pants now!!

if CD/ R get to own 30% of the shares they have to make an offer....

rollthatdice...if PE want to take this company over then they have to get acceptance of about 70% of the shares. Thats when the other big holders will aid the PIs...they will hold out for a "high" price so that it is worth their while letting PE take the business private. The lowest offer price cannot be lower than the highest share price paid by anyone in the last 12 months.

On 16/12 last year the price was 129.20...you could argue there are twice as many shares now...so halve it. The least we can be offered until Dec 16th is therefore 65p

So we are reasonably well protected...for 6 months or so
