Maybe I'm overthinking but the first time I heard one of the BOD refer to "organic deleveraging" was Helen during the conference call at HY.

And this TU update almost emphasises good progress with NA schools, and again seem to emphasise the "organic deleveraging " capabilities.

If it happens great, but imo the current price and market reactions since HY have been performance related, and although third consecutive quarter of good progress at FY will no doubt rerate it further NA sale aside.

There was really good progress made in thrashing out a trade deal over several meetings last time Trump was in power, and the US election scuppered that in 2020.

Let's not forget that labour is an extreme version of the US democratic party.

Also worth considering that there's an ongoing cost reduction program , and details of the specific roles/ salaries etc being let go, are unclear at this stage.

It's possible some of reductions are coming from these top heavy roles (management).

I think there will be a brief statement referring to this in the Dec pre close update, and specifics will be revealed when guidance is issued for 25, possibly during the FY 24 results.

Unless of course it becomes certain before Dec that this will impact FCF in 25 which has been guided as positive at this stage.

I really don't think that CPI salaries are significantly higher than Sercos.

And their guidance today on this is 20 mill on circa

30k employees.

So i think your quick calc is a bit lofty, surely.

Plus just wait until all these labour voters ( train drivers aside) cotton on that interest rate will be higher for longer because of Reeves budget.

It's hard to gauge other than there will be a hit.

If this is a case of there's a simple reason / explanation as why the auditors have requested a review, then Gilmartin should walk at being so naive in not expecting a 60% trouncing.

Exactly, never seen anything like this before on announcement of a review.

It's almost unbelievable to accept that this drop was algo based alone, the buys far outweighing sells, it smells of human interference and feels rotten to the core.

Well they previously said they expected the NA sale to conclude by year end, 7/8 weeks doesn't seem likely.

Well the US have had enough of 4 years if woke/green/ BS agenda, the people have spoken.
