It's these sort of pe rumours that squeeze shorts and bedroom traders like Aimaster.
I remember when an article about pe sniffing around m & s last year caused a big Monday spike.

Their results have been impressive for some time now bar the obvious covid year, just look at full year in March, but every time the price is driven down by shorters with their small sells, and sp has underperformed considerably over the last year.
Problem has been imo very limited PIs buying, but maybe this time will be different because of the share buyback. They had to do something because the price clearly didn't reflect or behave in a manner of a company maintaining father growth forecasts.
And lastly, in March when the results seemed as good as these interim, there was not any mention of inflation, interest rates etc, and sp spiked for a few weeks to 2 90 then has plummeted ever since.
I hope this time is different, because I am overweight here and still under water!! But much more confident now

Liquidity into the market is a fair point, but the way they sell in very small tranches distorts the market and the share price.
Several sells of 69, 312, even 12, several times a day, manipulates the price down, its down right cheating. That's what I've got an issue with.
If they had to pay for all those trades they would soon stop doing that.
Borrow them, sell them, then hope for the best.

I think you could be onto something there.
I used to work at Herts County Council in 2008, and they tuped over various departments within Adult Social Care to Serco, some of which remain today.
I didn't relate it too much to the financial crisis then, but now comparing it to today, its a sure fire way for goverment to save money and cut costs.
So I wouldn't be surprised at all if some hefty new contracts come CPIs way within the next 6 months to a year.
Have some of that Aimmaster, and I'm sure Barnet will backtrack on bringing their services back in house, it will be cheaper for CPI to continue.

Cine is 9 Billy in debt, revenues increased to 4 Billy but now with cost of living, people will knock that on the head, if they did a debt to equity shareholders are gonna. Not comparable to CPI yet both have sps in the 20s. I don't see much risk with cpi at the current price with guaranteed income ( hopefully growing) from goverment contracts, debt more than manageable, and credit facility pushed back to 2024.

Personally as I've said before , I'm writing off my stocks that are down ( which is most) until next year, and CPI until March 23 when I Hope they are able to provide some clear and concise results demonstrating progress.
