I'm talking about their economic forecasts, and projections for rate rises etc, you know how dramatic those yanks are!!

Well my guess is this.
If US markets react positively tonight straight after Powels speech then I expect them to sell off tomorrow. At each of the last 4/5 fed meetings, markets reacted well immediately then sold off the next day taking us down with them.
So maybe the reverse tonight and tomorrow.
Then it depends how super gloomy our great Andrew Bailey sounds tomorrow. He's a miserable git!!

I added also, I'm not complaining just observing that there was a very excessive drop compared to others

No net loss each year since 2017 apart from 2019 but large debt of 1.7 billion.
No one expected the ITP sale to wipe out debt, it was impossible, but to reduce it significantly and return to investment grade etc, you'd have thought there would be some recognition by the market.

Shows how corrupt the market is, they took it down 10% yesterday to load up because they knew it was completing today!

What I don't get is that there was no reaction by the market to the sale going through and going towards debt reduction ?
Take WG today, completed sale of their environmental division for 1.8 billion, market has known about it all year, and since RNS at 2 26 today, 9% up.
Why not RR?

Has anyone wondered why the share buybacks have stopped last Friday?
Funnily enough the same day that it was reported in the Times that there were whispers in the City about possible TO by Mastercard through separate business, and another PE also taking a look. They concluded with City were talking about a 500 valuation despite it being 650 not long ago.

Would a company suspend buying back shares if it was in talks?
