Anyone would have thought that NEX in West Midlands is the largest part of the business the way the UK stock market reacted, its pathetic that our stock market reacts in such a way on something that only impacts a smallish part of the business.

Approx 9.7 million shares at ballpark 3.20, so approx 30 million out of first 50 million spent. Another 20 million within 4 weeks to keep on track so could be a little squeeze soon if they suddenly increase the amounts to buy back 50 millions worth.

Didn't they say first 50 million by January, then they will carry on after.
If you look at the end of the shareback rns will tell you a total of shares bought, then you can sort of work it out at say 3.20 to be Conservative, to see total money spent.

Dirty shorts are in control of the whole market right now, with their small akgo sells driving the price down on very small volume.
I'm surprised the buyback isn't managing to hold the sp from thus type of manipulation.

I don't get why sentiment is poor towards Darktrace , they have turned profitable, they have no debt so the interest rate impact isn't really relevant, they are growing revenue and increasing customers, even the dollar has weakened which will benefit revenues, so why is it being sold off day after day?
Yes the insiders have sold shares, and yes general sentiment is awful and the UK market is appalling, but down 25% in a month seems odd. Other peers are also down over the last month but generally 15%. It seemed to start after that strange RNS about strong interest in prevent.

Down 36% in 1 month, based on CEO leaving and project fear driven by shorts, or based on something known in the City and unknown by PIs.
The bonds aren't due for 3 years, can't really see the issue unless PFC default on the other credit facility, which I'm sure I read somewhere would result in the possibility of the bonds being called in early.
It will be a bit farcical if a further fund raise is needed after Iskander said the long term capital structure is now secure a year ago after the fund raise.

It's just lots and lots of small volume sells .

I'm more optimistic now that their half year outlook statement suggesting free cashflow circa 46 million is in line, and they also stated they expected profitability from the core businesses after one off business sale costs, pension deficit payments etc.
If there was any change they would have been obligated to update.
Also experience to be even flat compared to be in decline is positive imo.

Is it not a bit strange that all the declared shorts have now gone without there being any noticeable price movement to reflect this ?

Let's not get ahead and start all the back patting just yet, markets are awful in the UK right now, very happy with the reaction so far but we have US cpi today, and interest rate rises the best 2 days. Hopefully Andrew Bailey in particular doesn't sound as gloomy and dull as the chancellor did yesterday.

They've been out to get RR since they first started downgrading in April. This all started after their initial downgrade to underweight and 75p in April.
They clearly have an agenda against RR.

Over the year I've managed to reduce my average from 32 down to 25.5, through buying and selling.
The way I'm looking at this now, on a downside scenario, say the market is in a bad mood on Tuesday and decides CPI -10%, then we're still in the 20s!!!
I too agree that the fy results are likely to be unclear due to one off business sale costs etc , however contracts and revenue inflows will be evident.
Given the trading update is almost at the year end, I'm not sure how much detail they will provide, so anything said needs to presented in a positive way.
Last December it came across as if why are you even bothering to update the market in such a negative way, with very little substance, it was almost a repeat of what was said previously with a negative spin.

I Hope you're right crl123, as I'm getting quite close to binning these at a loss.
It's feeling worse now than the beginning of 21 when Lufkin pleaded guilty and Adnoc banned them from bidding.
There is also talk on the other board about them possibly defaulting on their credit facility meaning that if that were to happen, the bonds due in 26 can be automatically recalled.
That is a plausible reason for the share price to lose 30-40% in 2 weeks.
And for the shorts be crawling out their gutters again, it is either opportunistic preying on shareholders after the CEO announcement, or something else.

There are so many d1ckhead shorters on here and PFC at the moment. They really are the 5cum of the earth.
