It's all over the news, US markets will look after their own tonight, we will all get hammered tomorrow.

Missiles hit Poland, article 5 coming, stock markets to sink tomorrow.

They might have reduced below 0.5 but there's clearly some effort to drive the price down today.
Isn't it what they do, 3 figure small sells, loads of them, not huge volume, and this is the result.

No doubt we will receive major contract awards, but imo this will be a multi year process.
And the forward PE is high anyway, so Mr Market may well rate it lower until proved otherwise.
So it's just sit and wait while everything around it recovers.

The trading update is Dec 20th, maybe its so late to give as much time for one to come in before telling the market that major contract awards are delayed.
This seems to be tracking price of oil again.

Free cash flow in second half expected to be broadly neutral

Yeah but at least WG is only down a couple %, this 7 5% down on what.
All the CEOs positivity at HY update about the second half is going to be kicked further down the road again.

Imo the dent in profits that they're all focusing on is more than baked into the sp halving over 12 months. And correct me if I read them wrong but didn't they forecast fy profits to be in line with last year?

Am I right in saying that so far M & S hasn't made circa trading performance guidance for the year, therefore at least we know that there will be no adjusted profit warnings !!!
Only against last year's performance I guess.

I wouldn't say happy but happier and relieved somewhat!!
I did receive an email from IR more or less confirming there are delays to significant contract awards, and they say they have no control over their clients.
Also they said this is a multi year recovery, suggesting the FY23 will see the order backlog increase as we all Hope.
I've been in this since before Lufkin pleaded guilty to extra charges early last year, and before the Adnoc suspension in March 21, so yes I am extremely frustrated ( not deramping PFC) at how things have gone the last year.
Another year imo until this really kicks on.

These daily price movements are just normal.
