Might well not have seen the bottom, ir might revisit, markets are just awful, especially UK.

Lots of the US fund managers were predicting lows in sept/Oct, probably engineered by them to buy back in low, so I'm not expecting any meaningful rally until nov/Dec.

Capital allocated and not required for at least a year is my motto for all my investments.

The way US markets are selling off again tonight, its looking like markets are heading in one direction currently, and some are suggesting end of October before any sort of buying.

Not looking forward to tomorrow, unless there's a juicy bid.

Imo Trenners what has completely caused this is cash outflow and an increase in debt, and despite IR insisting that besides the hack cost the additional costs were known by the market (investment and pension contributions etc) and causing an outflow, the market doesn't seem to believe it.

And I think sadly for us the FY update will probably also show negative FCF and probably an increase again in debt, even allowing for the final disposal.

So imo unless Adolpho says something seismic, or we receive a bid, they will need to prove then generate FCF without increasing debt and this won't be evident until well into next year.

And the other thing that concerns me is that this appears to have a book value of only 13p p/s.

Well back down to closing price UT of 17.01.

There's no glossing this at the moment.

It's just suck it up and wait for HY 24

But to be fair, every time I start pointing the finger, Pokerchips always responds in a very balanced way, and I am no longer angry until the next day!!

Imo there is a lingering concern that if they don't receive monies expected when they're expected in H2, there could be a need to raise cash.

After the significant contract wins this year, why is this still languishing in the 70s ?

I get what you day by management are there to manage the business not the sp, and that should follow.

It just seems that whatever they have been doing , certainly since 21, and further since the new CFO was in post a year ago, the share price keeps going one way, its almost like their evolve strategy set out last year was actually a turnaround plan for an unsuccessful business, which we all know it wasn't pre covid.

The market is consistently pricing this as a failing business, and treating it like an Aim stock.

Stephanie and Helen from IR have been on a HY update roadshow meeting investors for the last 2 weeks.

So hopefully they have worked their magic and we will see some stakebuilding imminently.

You watch 5% down day today for absolutely no reason, I despair holding this.

But there comes a time when the BOE will have to think for itself rather than follow hawkish rhetoric every time.

Given cpi still fell despite an uptick in oil prices, is that not enough evidence to just hold and wait for the full impact, and follow the data.

In effect they could make clear that they're done and see.

And FCF and no more debt increase.
