Couldn’t resist adding a few more today following my attendance at yesterday’s event. I would very much like to echo Dawski’s and others perspectives on the evening and add that the FID delay provides the opportunity to progress detailed design and enabling works which will significantly de-risk the implementation phase. Overall timescales are not impacted and we get 7 caverns. Finance is looking good and as I recall there are still £400k warrants to be exercised at .48p and the belief is that once exercised the resulting shares won’t be sold in the short term. Suggest the doubting skeptics ought to attend the next event up in Leeds and they will undoubtedly come away feeling suitably reassured as those of us who attended yesterday did.

Or concerned that once ex div tomorrow the drop will exceed the div payment

Interesting item this morning on Today programme about mounting pressure on institutions and funds to move away from investment in oil and gas exploration only companies, in light of mounting carbon concerns. Whilst we will undoubtedly need to rely on these types of energy for some time to come, they have clearly had their day. Further illustration, in this case, of a dividend strategy being preferable to one of chasing new production opportunities.

Agreed at current price I wil most certainly not sell, but if the sp can muster the support to cree back over 14p I will begin to offload, unless Of course I see evidence of a change in strategic direction or some compelling figures which generate a return to shareholders within the next three years without the need to raise more cadh.

Must admit I am beginning to feel much the same way. It appears we will wait for ever to see a return. I am concerned about a strategy which appears to be directed at growth and development of new assets against a background of a long term structural move away from oil and hostile fiscal environment. I would much prefer to see Trin sticking to ongoing low cost, low risk on shore extraction at producing a steady 3,500 b / day then paying $10 million a year in dividends for the next 10 years. We would all be far better off.

Today’s RNS only refers to EU funding pertaining to FEED, my posting was in regard to the additional EU funding which was referred to in the 7th March update. This application was originally turned down by the EU but it was suggested that s modified application, if resubmitted, would stand a better chance of success. I would have considered this a significant enough item to feature in the half yearly update.

I thought that in March they were also to resubmit for EU grant funding towards implementation, there was no mention of that in today’s RNS. Is that now off the agenda?

I find myself agreeing with Mitch’s first point, the second is way off the mark.

Also there is undoubtedly potential for a placing.

Good summary Crl, i would add that, something close to my heart, a divi has been discussed but still two years away and the canopies were very tasty. I am very comfortable with my investment here and pleased with a modest top up, at just below 14p, today

Turtlewax, you only loose money if you a succered in to selling. Undoubtedly a number of short termists in for a quick buck will have done just that and lost out. Unfortunate for them, but had they been more knowledgeable about their investment perhaps they would have not lost their nerve.

Like our brilliant friend Mitch I took the opportunity to buy more on Friday, unlike Mitch I unfortunately didn't have the foresight to sell beforehand!

At the investor presentation and agm in post meeting chat RL indicated that they would be able to sell the busines quite easily for 2-3p a share, but that was not on the agenda. That may now not be the case. 5-6p would wet my appetite.

Agree, departure must be related to content or timing of yesterday’s RNS, Having met Graham a couple of times I was very impressed, he seemed very hands on and a very strong character.

Now he has moved on I wander if he will be selling his stock or take the opportunity to accumulate, guess we will never know!

David, just to amplify your posting. When outflow was discussed at the AGM, JW was very clear about limits on discharge levels which he said would be a determining factor on achievable progress rates for caven creation. Thus he was looking into opportunities for separating out the salt, thereby potentially facilitating higher discharge levels of reduced salt content. I have no doubt he is on top of this.

Also a near identical project in Cheshire is on a similar scale and uses the same methodology. That project is managing to deliver perfectly well at an inland location.

Smoking, with a share like this they aren’t going to be very successful at accumulating shares by dropping the price in expectation of frightening nervous sellers or picking up stop losses. If they believe a significant rerate is not far away and they need stock, they would do better to raise sp now in hope that those of us sitting on large holdings will sell and take some near term profit.
