Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Great interview and god to note that additional options presenting themselves. This will undoubtedly take more time and give MMs the opportunity to drive sp down on low volume. So bring on .7p, my target to mop up another half mill!
Cautious optimism as a piece of the jigsaw drops into place. Promising start!
Perhaps the five times over subscription of demand for winter storage at Stublachis a myth.
Leesadee, thanks for your inputs so an objectively thinking local expert. I suspect you would also consider a business case for carbon capture or perhaps hydrogen storage at Islandmagee also could never be made.
Thanks Spud, perhaps I’ll while away time playing spot the reversal tomorrow.
Looks unlikely, large end of day sale implies somebody betting that there is ample opportunity for the sp to slip back below .7 before news comes or has lost patience.
Smudge don’t waste you breath asking Lurker is one of those itinerant individual’s who posts to disrupt, there is no substance behind his wild assertions
Despite the apparent like of desire and low price the MMs don’t appear keen to sell to me
Less than £20k if sells today reduce the sp by 6%!
We are all depressed about the sp but will either stick with it or lick our wounds and move on.
Crl I think you need to recognise that over the past few years whenever there has been friction between contributors to the bb you have always been involved. All this friction serves to do is depress matters, discourage contributors and ultimately potential investors. Crl perhaps take time out from the bb for a few months, by all means read but I implore you please don’t contribute, by which time the sp may be moving more favorably and we will then all be in a better spirits.
A great opportunity, particularly for those not able to attend last week and then spent the next few days apparently encouraging the sp down!
Snowman , you touch on a good point, at this time the non attendance yesterday and subsequent lack of commentary from Mcadder and Spud is a concern - were they today's big sellers?
JW actually stayed that he did not see the need for a placing over the near term mitigated by slow burn rate, EU grant monies and warrants outstanding
Unbelievable but today’s 10% drop seems to be substantially due to shareholders latching on to a piece of news yesterday and making all sorts of nonsense of it. We don’t need derampers on this board, the LTHs are perfectly capable of doing it for themselves!
Roll on 2 weeks time, that’ll be another 10% off
Couldn’t resist adding a few more today following my attendance at yesterday’s event. I would very much like to echo Dawski’s and others perspectives on the evening and add that the FID delay provides the opportunity to progress detailed design and enabling works which will significantly de-risk the implementation phase. Overall timescales are not impacted and we get 7 caverns. Finance is looking good and as I recall there are still £400k warrants to be exercised at .48p and the belief is that once exercised the resulting shares won’t be sold in the short term. Suggest the doubting skeptics ought to attend the next event up in Leeds and they will undoubtedly come away feeling suitably reassured as those of us who attended yesterday did.
Or concerned that once ex div tomorrow the drop will exceed the div payment
Interesting item this morning on Today programme about mounting pressure on institutions and funds to move away from investment in oil and gas exploration only companies, in light of mounting carbon concerns. Whilst we will undoubtedly need to rely on these types of energy for some time to come, they have clearly had their day. Further illustration, in this case, of a dividend strategy being preferable to one of chasing new production opportunities.
Agreed at current price I wil most certainly not sell, but if the sp can muster the support to cree back over 14p I will begin to offload, unless Of course I see evidence of a change in strategic direction or some compelling figures which generate a return to shareholders within the next three years without the need to raise more cadh.
I guess I will turn up to the agm!
