Lamsailing, your post is spot on. I agree that IM will eventually come good and had JW not got involved it would have ultimately delivered a handsome return to shareholders. Because of his ill conceived shipbuilding venture we are now left nursing considerable losses. This is all because of the actions of a self obsessed individual who Is distinctly lacking in integrity, common sense and stature. He and his sidekick Arum should be held personally liable and stripped of their assets.

The blame for all of this sits at the door of JW, his ego and self importance far exceed his ability to make sound commercial decisions. The only asset the business has which is of any commercial value is IM, this I do expect will ultimately go ahead. IM is the sole reason I invested here in the first place.

I was always against the acquisition of H&W, as well as the other shipyards , which from the outset I stated to be a poor investment with little prospect of return. Shipyards always rely on government support.

H&W is now too politically sensitive to be allowed to fail, I expect government support in one shape or form will be forthcoming. I cannot see a placing working as this type of businesses is never going to show a return to investors.

Deeply worrying that they failed to file. I wonder if it was a purposeful move to buy them some time. The company must be very close to collapse and although they have some cash, I wonder how much of that is already spent, paying JW’s and Arrun’s salaries for starters!

I have been away so not kept up to speed with posts. Following the JR appeal outcome, why cannot the marine licence matter be now referred to the Northern Ireland Executive for approval now that it is sitting?

I first took a small position here in 2014 when share price was 25p and 81,000,000 shares were on issue, MSMN valuation then £20m. Since then no value has been returned to shareholders who have just experienced massive dilution, to the point where there are now effectively 15 billion shares on issue, staggering!!! 156 times more shares than in 2014. There have been many false dawns, perhaps on this occasion, this is a real thing, but I fear more than likely not. I would recommend that investors tread very warily here. In the meantime, my heavily diluted holding sits in my portfolio as a constant reminder of an expensive lesson learned! Be under no illusion, first and foremost this is a company run to benefit management.

Once the warrants have cleared there will undoubtably be another placing. That is the way of life with this company , school fees will be due soon! At some point they may get lucky with a big find but don’t be very aware, warrants and placings are the name of the game. At some point, I guess they will consolidate, knock off a few zeros and start over again.

Any genuine long term holder should see the familiar signs. Do not be succeed in until they actually deliver.

It should not be over, this is in part why theUK cannot achieve anything. Hamstrung by an out of touchJudiciary fixated on legal technicalities. I hope they fight on with this, a common sense thing to do, this was a EU supported project not a JW initiative.

They do not receive any payment for asset sales until the beginning of September. All depends how much working capital they have got to keep them going and meet investment needs up until then, no doubt school fees will also be due! The only way they have previously got their placings away is at a massive discount , that is why there are now 156 times more shares in existence than 10 years ago. Just hope placings have become a thing of the past.

Barr snd Carroll have very little skin in the game, but appear to have paid themselves handsomely over that period. It does make total sense. I have been invested here for many years fortunately substantially sold out some time ago, but maintained a token holding. I have to say, if nothing else they are quite resilient, I had expected they would have probably gone bust well before now, I guess they keep doing raises to pay the school fees! Sensible investors stay away because they know that despite the promises management consistently fail to follow through and deliver.

Looks like somebody is getting out big time, likely cutting their losses. They probably recognise the last raise was to pay salaries and school fees!

RNS of 15th May stated that an update would be provided within a few weeks. That time period now passed - no update and SP pretty much back to where it was then.
