Setanta, very well put, interesting that in terms of sp today, there appears to have been flurry of sells yet sp not dropped. As you say MMs know they have time on their side and I believe are trading between themselves to generate sells. I think the tree is well and truly shaken and agree we may see a little drift lower over coming weeks providing we are not struck by bad news or negative tweets. I am watching and very tempted to make yet a further top up.
GO very good analysis, unfortunately I have too much at stake here and sitting on a sizeable loss so will stick around a while longer. I don't think we will ever see a change to spt, particularly while companies continue to invest and chase production, hardly sends out a defiant signal to government. Just hope the drilling campaign turns out to be more successful than the market believes it will be.
Decent update nothing spectacular, probably enough to get us up to and settled around 12p. No mention of the $2.6m owed by Heritage, wouldn’t be surprised to learn that a similar figure if not more is still outstanding. If so that theoretically improves the cash position.
Come on Brice, realise current strategy is not working and has no support. Returning some cash to shareholders would send a very clear message to the obdurate T&T authorities and cheer us all up. Once they get it and reform SPT I’ll be more than happy to support a growth strategy
Well put Aunty. I feel for JW, it seems he’s dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn’t!. Good RNS today and entirely consistent with stated aims of the Business. Had I not been on a mountain bike all day in the Dolomites, I would have added today. Will look to do so tomorrow.
II know Bruce and others have sunk a lot of their own money into this business and are very committed to making it succeed. However I think if they are pursuing a growth strategy that is the wrong approach. Now that they have stabilized the business they should concentrate on their existing assets and look to return surplus funds to us long suffering shareholders. God forbid we end up back in the mess we have just extricated ourselves from!
Have to agree with negative sentiments. Very disappointing RNS which was bound to hammer sp. JW’s unrealistic expectations now coming to haunt him. Very concerned that no Chairman has yet been appointed, sound experience and guidance at this critical time would not go amiss.
