Any idea when buybacks will commence?
Is it just a case of legals and money dropping first so about 30 days?
Absolutely, Whenever I buy in, the stock goes down!
I refuse to get excited with this share as it has gone straight down in the last 2 years. Maybe share buyback (doubt it), maybe they are selling that subsidiary in India or maybe nothing?
Just wondering why this is having an issue getting past 6.35 and then it slips back when bitcoin is exploding upwards. Although not directly related I thought with all the excitement of bitcoin currently that we would be much higher. Any opinions?
Why do I feel like I've been missold this ETF?
Why would it be 8% down when it suppose to track the cypocurrency?
Not happy at all!
Isnt this Etf suppose to track Cypocurrency and especially bitcoin so why are we 10% down when TC has increased by 2,000 since Friday?
Isn't it strange that since November 22 at least, it has been dropping like a stone and we loose our CEO which should have spooked the markets but we have gone up?
BATS are invested in CBD oil with a company in Canada. With many states in America opened up to sales of Cannabis to some description, how come a product is not taking off? All input most welcome.
Looking at last year, I can't see that Q1 was announced but at the beginning of June (1st week), H1 results (expected) should be announced.
Just wondering if anyone is optimistic that this will return to the 30's this year?
Seems quite negative on other forums.

Hi,
I see that HSBC are paying dividends out quarterly. Does anyone have an expectation of what this would amount to?
I'm guessing if your annual is roughly 32c per year, then quarterly would be roughly 8c. Anyone confirm if that would be a logical assumption unless I missed a correspondence somewhere?
Thanks,
Hi,
As senseman mentioned, the only way to try and defeat this vote is to get other major shareholders on board.
Not a clue how you would find a contact. All I can see is that Butterfield bank in Guerney hold 21.8% of shares and Shanghai bank holds 16%. Any ideas?
Wish I could talk to a corporate lawyer or someone with advice? No saving grace is that it goes through a court/judge for sign off. What obligation does Prax has to pay dividends to us even if there is profit? or will we be fighting that also? Does anyone have any info on the subject matter. Seems a strange sale. I would have thought it would be conducted via cash or shares or both but not future dividends. I know football clubs but players and pay in installments but didn't think it was usually in the corporate world. Anyone able to enlighten me?
@asimpleinvestor- As it would now be a private company rather than a listed company, Is there a risk that nothing would be paid out? How would we know that they are acting properly as there would be less scrutiny that an AIM listed share? Doesn't fill me with confidence
On the initial sum of money £6.02, if the vote goes in their favour, Is this sum being paid in April/May of this year? Might just breakeven if I get that and then sell at ex-dividend date/payment date
@haggis- Nice summary. Would think April to receive funds is a little too early maybe as they need approval and then declare a dividend for the 3p element which requires 40+ days I think. I guess what also needs to be considered is that the shares would have some value at the end of that would, I'd assume. So even if the deal is worth 12.5p, the shares maybe only worth 2p so total value is 14.5p if kept and sold at the end. Fair assumption? I will be voting it purely from a selfish POV as I average 9p but they could have structured this alot better!
Maybe it's laziness on my part but I can't see timescales so if someone could assist.
When/If approved, when can the £6.02 per share be paid out and subsequently when is the other £6.48 likely to be paid?
Thanks,
Jon
@Oldman, Good work.
At least we got a month and a year to assume we will get information and if not, you at least have a basis for hounding further. All I would say is that if it technically treated as a dividend, then the timeframe between declaration and payment is 42 days which is obviously impossible for it to be paid to March. I will leave with that if a generous sale is agreed or even if declaration of dividend is at the end of March, I would forgive them!
Does anyone have a view on what the dividend declared tomorrow will be? Is there a chance of a special dividend?
Good to get some views.
Jon
@Senseman, I have forwarded that on.
