Any ideas why this is falling or how far does it need to fall before we start recovering?
Completely understand that. However is it completely unreasonable to know what offers are on the table at some point in the near future pending due diligence. Otherwise we could just be hood winked and although capital reduction vote may go through, the pay out may stall because a so called sale could go through.
Haven't trust issues I feel lol
Hi,
I didn't really like the information/wording of the sale process update. What exactly did we learn that wasn't communicated at the end of December?
We had been told there was other interests. I guess now we know there are confirmed offers but the vagueness worries me. Are we not allowed to know or if not, can we have a timescale of when we will know? Some time in the future is not a timescale. It was emphasised twice that these offers will not materialise so are we to be surprised if an RNS comes out at some point to say they have fallen through.
Lack of information and lack of timescales was not what I was hoping for. Hopefully, at the AGM clarity can be asked for.
Thanks,
That is true and really hope you are correct. You would have expected big players to be pumping in huge amounts over the last couple of days on anticipation of the good news to come or vice versa. Guess time will tell
Hopefully I'm wrong but just can't see how tomorrow will bring much joy.
Usually with AIM shares the info is leaked or speculation causes things to stir but nothing really at all volume wise in the last couple of days. What are we really expecting tomorrow? Someone has come in with a 10p-12p bid and the share price will climb 25%-50% in one day?
Really hope so but usually the big market players know before us!
Anyone going to the meeting, please post anything worthwhile on this forum as soon as you get a moment as I'm sure we are all eager to understand especially if there no RNS in the morning enlightening us on the situation.
Seems to be going up as we break the 8p mark.
Anyone got access to L2 for further info.
Thanks,
Just wondered what investors thought would be the dividend payout that willbe announced in February. It was 267p at half year. Whats the feeling of it being higher and whether a special dividend could be expected. Cheers
This might be a silly question but how is the spread determined? From the broker is probably the answer. Looking at the current spread it's in the region of 7.85-7.98 tightening up from 7.6-7.97 before that. Can't help but think it would break 8p today if offered but maybe it's not being offered as the broker doesn't feel there is demand for it. Anyone with insight and could educate me would be much appreciated.
Is it just me but I thought we were expecting an operational update middle of this month?
Does anyone know the rationale of record buying pressure today vs a decrease in share price? I feel "Welcome to this share" comment will be met but is it an economies of scale issue and once they reach 30%, they will make a formal bid with a sweetener on top? Your comments most welcome
The only concern I have is if the share stays static at 8p and the dividend at Q1 then the day after it will go down to 5p. So the value of your holdings goes down even if it given in cash so makes no difference. It only works if new shareholders get on board and raises the shareprice.
Hi,
Very surprised this share is going backwards even with todays announcement. Usually if a stock declares dividend it would go up if the offering was good. Here although not confirmed yet is looking positive that by mid December a 3.1 p per share is on the table for Q1. Why would new investors not be coming in? Can't comprehend
How do you propose we send an early warning?
Just thinking nearly got burnt with Sirius Minerals so would be nice to avoid this but don't really feel in control of proceedings.
Thanks,
Out of interest, Just because we are up for sale should not mean that the operational update ceases?
Shouldn't October's data be released this week?
Please advise
Is there a rule of how long Hurricane would need to give the market when declaring a dividend and providing a dividend date? Just thinking as if they can't make a sale then the first question is how long before we determine that the sale won't be made in time and the special dividend will take place and secondly, how much notice to the market so the special dividend will be paid/registered to the shareholders by the end of Q1 2023
Out of interest, Can someone clarity what the board means by if the sale doesn't go ahead there will be a capital reduction of 3.1p per share in Q1 2023.
Does that mean you would be forced to sell each share at 3.1p which makes no sense if currently over 8p per share or is it a dividend or something else I am overlooking? Please advise
Doesn't look like the market gave a hoot about the results.
Anyway, think we collectively need to make a decision at the AGM to oust the board/some of the board if there isn't a clear picture. That should be in 6/8 months so that gives them plenty of time.
I would have thought by now in the current financial markets that they would be looking at buying another company like Tullow Oil did. Just doesn't seem much has happened since the last AGM
9.16 closing price, Think the 7.84 was a late trade so can be ignored.
11% increase would make it around 8.76. Has it calmed down now or still going upwards?
