Smickster, if that's the case and nobody has taken it over, hostile or otherewise, it's therefore not really viable ? I did think that myself years ago as I imagined the size of the hole that would be there before you reached paydirt ( yes I know about block caving !) And where the hell do put all the overburden ? Build yourself another mountain and call it Solg's Folly ?
100% agree and for that reason SOLG should put the whole lot on the market and stop wasting money drilling holes when they've drilled enough over the last 7 or 8 years to realise that it's too big a project for this company. Yes, by all means sell the rights to everything but the ships cat to pay to get it into product by the end of the decade, but there will precious little profit left over to show for fifteen years of graft after the vultures have had their share. A classic case of biting off more than you can chew and refusing to spit it out for sake of saving face.
I have more too, only they are only worth 55% of what I paid for them over the years. I have a feeling that's going to change this year though. For the better, I think.
This board has been giving me a headache ( not a financial one like the company has) for months now, I've rarely seen so many posts every time I click on here, and they all go around in circles constantly. SOLG will never go into production without a JV and I think a buy out will be the only feasable way forward.
RE: XTR: Colin Bird interview, Tues, 2.3.21: "BUSHRANGER-TRANSFORM ANY CO."2 Mar 2021 17:37
As far I can see there is nothing in the agreementhat states that AA can only buy 80%. It only states they are entitled to buy 80% I'd think they would offer to buy 100%, why would they tool up to only get 80% of the profit. It makes things complicated and I think they would pay a premium to take the lot from XTR.
One of the best interviews I've heard2 Mar 2021 13:21
Colin is as upbeat as he's possibly allowed to be, he repeatedly described Bushranger as BIG, really BIG and I have a claim to fame now as he mentioned my post about the Cathedral spirals at Undarra as " 'itting the nail right on the 'ead" ( I'm from Yorkshire too so not taking the micky ) He can hardly contain himself ! This will explode if the assays are as good as he expects.

And those pressure release pipes can be the size of a cathedral if you've ever been to the Undarra Lava tubes you'll know how large and long they can be.
Oil goes down, BP instantly goes down, oil goes up, BP reluctantly drags it's heels after it but doesn't keep up. Dollar strengthens, BP goes down, Dollar weakens BP ignores it. Go figure...

Solgold are like the guy who wins an Aston Martin in a lottery but can't afford to drive it. Holding on to it for appearance's sake. They should sell it before they are the subject of a hostile takeover and get peanuts on the $
