I agree, BP as usual were "picked on" by the media and "virtue signalled " into giving up Rosneft whilst whole countries continued to buy Russian energy for MONTHS afterwards.
And after that, and losing millions during the first year of covid, as soon as they made money they were hit with more virtue signalling in the Houses of Parliament and windfall tax (twice) the MPs forgetting the huge loss whilst BP was still providing energy. BP didn't invade Ukraine, Russia did and as far as I'm concerned we still should own those assets or be compensated for them either by Russia or the people who pressurised BP to give up such an asset. Did giving up Rosneft help Ukraine or Russia ?

G-G-G. I read with interest the appointment of a new CFO, combined with the detail reserve report and Majid putting a figure on the value of the reserves in Sp terms (81p).
I'm not saying it's a strong opinion but I'm of the opinion that taking those two things together could be construed as being open to an offer for the company.

The company won't and can't give information to shareholder othen than in an RNS,

You agreed to more of my post than you think.

I think I3E has always been seen as "their" company rather than the shareholders company.
We are a thorn in the side of the management I think, they don't see keeping us informed as a priority, the raise that didn't include us told us that.
They will know the EOY figures but won't go out of their way to tell us mere mortals, after all, what are we going to do ?
All we can do is whinge about it.
