The point about MYSQ is that it was difficult to know what was going on when we were being blatantly lied to by our CEO and even in the RNS's where many based their investing decisions on. That's why I'm suggesting that people be careful with SOU. It may not turn out as wonderful as everybody is hoping for if they don't start getting some decent results. Don't forget the debt we have hanging over our heads too.

My brother is of course right.....mainly because he looks like me and with my dashing good looks, it's difficult to be wrong. People who have posted their personal attacks at us on here are the jealous ones who are nursing high averages and just need somebody to take their frustrations out on. I've seen it time and time before on this particular bb and it's pathetic and desperate. Grow up!

We had so much going for us until a certain somebody started putting his hand in the till. He wouldn't have been alone in all of this either IMO. They are all guilty until proved innocent if you ask me...

Trellis - you are among a select few that I have time for on this bb. It's good to hear that wannabe number 5 can get you "up". That is quite amazing given the alcohol that is consumed on a daily basis! I have to confess to checking out the wine selection in Co-op this morning. I fear that we'll all be drinking out of brown paper bags before not too long.
Wannabe number 5 would imply that there could be a sixth out there somewhere?

STZ jumped ship again today because he wanted to enjoy a profit for once in his life. Nothing wrong with that and he was one of the brave ones who bought in at 11p. Maybe some of you should listen to him rather than mock him and then proceed to take a cheap pop at me just because I look like him. I am my own man and STZ will do as he pleases. It's his money and it's his choice what he does and says on here.
The share price is clearly in rapid decline and news won't be out for some time yet, so get used to the decline IMO. This is usual share price movement when it comes to SOU as people are so emotional and jittery it's pathetic. I have said earlier today that people should wait patiently for the duster to be confirmed. No point in rushing the BOD as they try and figure out how they're going to make the results look cute. If it is a duster then Mitchener needs to go.

I don't believe anything anybody says on AIM until it is reported to me in full. I have learnt my lesson the hard way as many have over at MYSQ where we were being lied to by our ex CEO. Call me cynical, but losing several thousand quid on MYSQ has made me trust nobody from an AIM company again.

MM's starting to walk the share price down again, which is no surprise to me. Think it may be a while until we get the results from Te-10 as they clearly have quite a bit of testing and analysing to do before they can report back to us and be certain about what they have found. I said before X'mas that people shouldn't panic themselves if they don't hear any news until mid to late January. JP will report the news only when he is ready to do so and not when you'd like it. He won't be rushed and rightfully so. Just sit on your hands in the interim and be patient for the results. Good, bad or indifferent, we'll know at some point. I still think it will be non commercial, but that's just my opinion.

Trellis? Good to see you're back with us and have been reunited with your wine cellar. I also see you're not taking long to catch-up with your wine consumption. I hope your liver doesn't take too much punishment.

The above sentence taken directly from the recent 27th December RNS. It's important to take into consideration that they are potentially looking to confirm the upside potential of the NE Lakbir stratigraphic trap. Does anybody have any detail about this trap and its potential size? I also note that they will initiate seismic analysis. How long will this take I wonder and at what additional cost?

LE should be concluded by late Summer / early Autumn. My guess would be around September 2019.

Let's hope so, I4TLT. However, the silence from the BOD is ominous to say the least.

I don't know what I find more shocking: Trellis using the word 'sober' in one of his below sentences, or the current SOU share price.

We've heard nothing formal for a while now. It better not be a case of those that are left in charge raising enough money in order to pay themselves off and the remaining staff before they switch the lights off and leave us PI's fumbling about in the dark with no apology and no answers.
I don't think they have any intention to relist or even try. All they want is their golden handshakes and a quick, sharp, harp exit. Meanwhile...those who have done wrong walk free and are not pursued because there simply isn't the money available in order to go after them and sue them.
Chong and Austin right now are both a disgrace due to their lack of communication with us. Until we hear something positive then the jury is out.....literally! Message to Eric: hope you have a really horrible New Year in your hiding hole. You have messed up everything for a lot of people and ironically yourself. You can run but you can't hide for much longer.

I did say that Geraint would win and that he did. Only wish I had put some money on it!
The same can be said for Ronnie O'Sullivan, the snooker player. Didn't make the shortlist after winning the most major titles. Crazy that his talent hasn't been honoured with a knighthood.

Te-11 could well be the icing on the cake. Imagine what two successful drills could do for everybody involved. 2019 would certainly go down as a vintage year - as Trellis would say. My bottle of Bollinger is sitting in its box waiting patiently for the LE.

Brian Mitchener could well earn a new title: 'The God of Gas' should we have success at the drill bit.

Spot on, Silkster. We are indeed trying to prove the basin model, rather than seek a plethora of commercially viable wells with the drilling we are conducting. That's the subtle difference that everybody should acknowledge who hasn't already done so. Leave it to one of the "big boys" to do multiple drilling, which was always the intention being just an exploration company. We could very much be back on track with Te-10, which on the face of it didn't seem to hold much hope given the fact the drill site / location was decided upon before any in-depth analysis of the seismic data was conducted. The RNS this morning surprised me in a good way and hence the absence of any nasty trolling on this bb at the moment.
