The RNS's seem on the face of it rather repetitive. They are almost a reiteration of the same thing in an attempt to keep the share price buoyant. Just get the BFS sorted, get some mining done and get the stuff out if its shallow resting place, sold and to market. Simples....

yeah I was wondering where Harhoo is. I remember the conversations we had on here a few years back. I think Harhoo was estimating a 30p share price for Cluff a few Christmases ago!

I agree with you. Only thing I'd correct is that Algy isn't getting any younger and not older!
I also agree that eventually we will be absorbed by one of the Major O&G companies - possibly a Chinese company. I guess the strategy here is to first of all secure the licences that are of interest, which we have done, get rid of the licences that aren't going to be potentially profitable, which again we have done then move to securing farm-in partners with attractive deals which will hopefully see the drilling costs carried by them and not us. If we strike gold and manage to get positive drilling results when the time comes, then the company value will obviously increase with every successful result. I think we will get to a certain value at which point the company will be sold.

I can be brutal, yes but usually my comments turn out to be right. I have been invested here for a few years and have been candid in my feelings towards Algy and this company. If I didn't think a deal was likely I would have said so....you know that and I suspect others do too.

I think we're going to be just fine here and this year will mark the beginning of a major re-rate, which is deserved as a lot of work has gone on in the background to get us to this stage. There's no reason why we couldn't be a double digit share in good time.

Believe me, if I didn't think the RNS was positive I'd say so. I am known on various bb's for my candid comments.
This one sounds very much like a deal is done and the i's are being dotted and the t's crossed.
Massive re-rate is on the cards when the herd arrive in their droves wanting a slice of the cake. The market likes what it is hearing this morning via that RNS and hence the hike in share price. The language used and the tone was definitive and non ambiguous, which was good to see. Hoping we will be well north of 3p just before the juicy news lands in our laps. It's going to get more and more difficult to buy shares as we ebb ever closer to the 7th Feb, so take your positions now, ladies and gents and await the news. It's been long coming but like all good things that come to you, sometimes you have to wait patiently for it.

Shorters and day traders being weeded-out now. Investors know a good thing when they can see it. Recommend taking your positions now and see how the next week turns out. Assuming we manage to get a deal, then I am expecting a well overdue re-rate. We have some world class licences with multi TCF potential and the this year things should start to ramp up again nicely.

Nah, if it wasn't looking like a done deal then the RNS this morning would have reflected that. I've been invested here for a few years and I have seen my fair share of rubbish RNS's and this is not a company to hold back bad news from my experience with it. It is very much a "tell it how it is, good or bad" type company. Algy doesn't tend to prattle around with things.

They had to put a deadline date on this last November for exclusivity reasons or else it wouldn't have been deemed and exclusive arrangement if you catch my drift? Expect a RNS in a week's time confirming the farm-in arrangement.

What is LE? If you ask Trellis he'll probably tell you it means Liver Exchange after all of the wine he's consumed these past several years. He has the receipts to prove it too.

There may be a mini LE before this tax year expires via the sale of Sidi. I.e. a special dividend payment based on how many shares you have. In the 2019-20 tax year we should expect the main LE. There may be tax benefits for doing it this way rather than sell off the assets in one fell swoop.

To me it sounds like they are desperately trying to botch it such that they try and make Te-10 sound amazing when in reality STZ has and will continue to fart more gas than we'll ever get to flow there. Don't get fooled by the pretty wording. All that really matters is the final results in March. Until then, I'm not interested in their fluffy pink clouds and could-be's and would be's.
