Dickupham,
Until Cluff and his pals realise that the best thing they can do is sell their company to one of the big boys e.g. Shell, then they are going to find it tough to raise the money that will need to be raised in order to forge ahead with the drilling...even with the Shell farm in.
That's what amazes me with some of these AIM companies. At times, it appears they have illusions of grandeur when all they really ought to do is get sold, fill their pockets and PI's pockets with some healthy profit. Simples.
Any sniff of an equity raise here or some form of death spiral loan, will have PI's running a mile. I am invested over at ZIOC and there is another example of a company that should just put themselves up for sale instead of playing the long game and trying to act like one of the big boys.
It's commendable that GS has big ambitions for CLNR, but sometimes in life you need to be realistic and perhaps with Shell now involved, the best course of action would be to be absorbed by them for what I suspect will be a fairly decent price per share in return given where we are at this point in time. I say this because drill results won't be coming out any time soon and people with money in this stock will have to sit on their hands until some time in 2021. Probably mid-to-late 2021 too by the time the drilling has concluded and the final results are in.
I don't know about you lot, but I haven't got until 2021 to make some money when I have already lost a load investing in dogs like MYSQ.
