Possible dividend policy agreement June AGM with dividends flowing next year ??This company is transforming so rapidly I can't keep up with the good news flow.

Agree with you as we ran the processing numbers relating to POX potential ability to churn out gold. Both Molimer and Pioneer when it comes on stream will be at the low end as highlighted by PVX233 1kt for 1.1 Oz approx on worst estimate. Even on this worst estimate, pioneer will contribute greatly to the bottom line figures. Of all the non- refractory mines identified in Russia by POGs own presentation , POG has the lowest grade non- refractory ore reserves. The upside potential on POX is hugh if they can merge,buy, develop a high grade non refractory mine. Because of Pioneer and this hugh POX potential , and also underutilised POX capacity this must be one of the few companies that can grow their gold production quickly quarter to quarter in the short term.

The last director dealing and nothing after this purchase if I am not mistaken. Hopefully a good sign for good/excellent announcement 27 May.

Petropavlovsk PLC ('Petropavlovsk' or the 'Company') announces that it has been advised that on 30 December 2019, Dr Pavel Maslovskiy, Chief Executive Officer, purchased 17,400,000 ordinary shares of £0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 13 pence per Ordinary Share.

Following this transaction Dr Maslovskiy has an interest in 17,400,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.53 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

I don't see a JV for autoclave 5 and 6 anytime soon as it is looks like it is going to take this year and next to fully push 450kt through POX. Also considering how long it took autoclaves 1-4 to build the gold run will probably be over by the time 5-6 come online.

I think what I am more excited by is company identifying a merger or acquisition of a high grade refractory resource that they can push through POX for higher yield gold output to substitute out 3rd party gold concentrate. In short medium term this might be the company strategy as the presentation seems to hint at autoclaves 1-4 for own production and autoclave 5-6 for 3rd party when they do get built.

I was trying the grasp the effeciency of POX capability

§ A total of 13.3kt of Malomir refractory concentrate containing c.13Koz of gold was carried over to the 2020 financial year.

So thats roughly 1:1 for Molimer flotation line concentrate and 2:1 for 3rd party concentrate. According to POG April presentation POX annual processing capability is 450kt. 2020 projected breakdown is about 160kt Molimer concentrate, 20Kt pioneer concentrate and 150kta 3rd party. ( Therefore 120kt POX underutilisation this year). POX alone should therefore produce about 480,000 ounces this year as per company's estimate.

However if they can secure more 3rd party concentrate then that POX underutilised 120kta could potentially produce anything up to further 240,000 ounces.

I appreciate the comments re financials and take on board 3rd party concentrate will be at lower margins but I'm only trying at this stage to grasp the potential quantum of how many ounces this company can produce.

So I hold in expectation of a surprise to propel SP.

Doing the Maths on below information POX has capability of generating 500,000 ounces upwards to 1m ounces if we just did high grade concentrate

In these changed circumstances the Board of Directors understands the lack of majority support from shareholders for the exercise of the option agreement on its current terms.

FTSE 250 membership was a great step in the right direction. I note Highland Gold is held by GDXJ. Anybody know criteria and if Petropavlovsk is likely to be bought by Gold ETF's as this would represent a large pent up demand for the shares and another possible positive step forward for SP?

This quarter will be 3 months if unhedged gold sales in the 1600 price range. Plenty of FCF for the first time for the company.

Always sensed once POX got completed this was a train just leaving the station. Enjoy the ride in the first class carriage. It may be bumpy along the way but there is only one direction this train is heading and I for one don't see myself getting off until months after Pioneer is completed and up and running Q4

The option agreement entitles Petropavlovsk to purchase, at the Company’s discretion, Agestinia’s 25 per cent. interest in TEMI. The option price is US$13.0 million to be paid by 18 November 2019 (the ‘Option Price’) and upon payment of the Option Price Petropavlovsk will have the option to acquire Agestinia’s interest, conditional upon any regulatory consents or approvals being received (the ‘Option’). US$7.0 million of the Option Price was paid to Agestinia on 29 May 2019. At Petropavlovsk’s election, the remainder of the Option Price (US$6 million) may be paid in cash or Petropavlovsk Ordinary Shares at a fixed price of 8.26 pence per Ordinary Share. Subject to payment of the Option Price, the exercise period for the Option is 730 days from 22 May 2019.
