Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I am not going to start bickering with you as you seem to thrive on it, but you are living in the past. We all know the history of Management, this is now 2019 and we are discussing Med. Try and keep up to date with everything and I am sure we can eventually have a good discussion with you included!
The board will get this right! They have been taken for a ride too often and they now owe share holders who have been far too patient. Med is way above CSD , I’m looking forward to the end of year! Hope I’m not disappointed.
You post well and have been banging on about 50p since the beginning of the year. I didn’t believe it would reach very near that level so quickly , due to the 87 million shares out there at 7p and shareholders able to take a huge profit. But you were right and I certainly believe at some point within the next 2 months the price will start shooting up again towards and hopefully beyond that level.
We know from data we have so far , this drug has an outstanding chance of success for mild and moderate particularly, along with the news that Ken has fed us on safety this year you realise why Librium are rating the chance of positive results so highly.
Apart from awarding themselves bonuses this year after what LTH have had to endure , the board have done well to bring this study through on budget which was indeed key.
As for the latest Proactive interview with JB , and him stating that due to it being a blinded study he feels that it’s not appropriate for him to comment on 80% of participants electing to stay on the open label study for using the max dosage 0.6%. This surely must be very positive, 60 centres scattered over 8 countries, there can be very little connection between them, in the very least It is unlikely that there were any adverse effects in the phase 3 , otherwise why stay on, JB toys with us saying it’s not appropriate to comment as it’s blinded, but we also know that the board were in daily contact checking the trial remained on track with all centres, surely some comments and discussion must have taken part on how the trial was progressing overall?
Lastly JB states that all of the top ten urologists in the world are showing interest in our Med, and Zwartkops with all his knowledge makes a statement like he did this morning. Perhaps he has more knowledge than the 10? Laughable!
Are YOU for real? You are saying that if Med works that media are not going to be all over it? Think what you are saying before you post, precisely the opposite will be the case, there will be huge demand world wide for a product like this and anything connected with sex will be high on the list of all publishers! Please think before you post in future,
Obviously we know of the catastrophes , CSD , punchy Numbers etc, but this gel is way beyond anything that Futura have had in their pipeline previously. The potential here is massive. This is a company with just 14 staff bringing these drugs through is some doing in itself. If this drug passes the 1st stage of phase 3 , the ball imho lies completely with the board. I would expect pharma to be all over Futura in fear of missing out.
Then we have to look at the board and especially JB, he is on 250k and still feels the need of paying himself and fellow directors a bonus after the massive negative effect the dilution had on LTH who have supported the company in some cases for many years without reward.
At the AGM , JB was asked about additional raising of funds for part 2, his reply was that he is very mindful in terms of share holders and I believe him. I , although angry at the naivety at best at mistakes that have been made I am still of the belief that the board are doing their best to bring this to a favourable conclusion and in Med that could be massive. If all goes well with these trials , the previous mistakes made will be of great benefit as surely they cannot get into that position again. If outside advisors are needed prior to signing a contract , bring them in. This will be big and cannot be messed up like previously. I am on the boards side but this is it folks the next 6 months is the make or break and I believe the board must now have enough mouse to bring this to a successful conclusion with what they have had to deal with and know from past experiences.
Intersting post, and Ananda can answer for himself, but I for one would challenge the predictions of estimated sales for Med. if this Gel works I personally believe it will completely blow all its present rivals away and sales will be much more than predicted. Both prescriptions and especially over the counter. Cannot see anybody keep swallowing pills and other methods when you get your girl to apply a gel and 5-10 minutes later your able to go.
Manipulation is probably the wrong choice of wording Bruce, but Lombard are certainly one party who have a hold over the share price but they are only looking after their clients money as they see fit resulting in the share price drop. It also surprises me that mid 2018 they held just shy of 18% of the stock now it’s around 13 - 14%, with what you would believe to be an odds on bet of a positive result from the trial. Only they know. But share holders are reading too much into the raising of equity for the next trial, good results and that really should not be a problem. The only thing that matters is the results for the time being.
Exactly one year ago today I believe the deal was struck for Lombard to support Futura in the dilution , cumulating Lombard with around 26% of our Futura. Although this purchase has become so controlling for Lombard it was as I said previously the only way in which Futura could survive and keep all us share holders in business. It was also in my opinion the saving grace for JB not having his Gerald Ratner moment and killing the company off completely with his Punchy Numbers.
Lombard on this day a year ago , I believe started selling their shares around 19p crushing the share price down down down until the dilution was announced by Futura.
As much as Lombard are controlling the share price we all need to remember Futura would be history now if they hadn’t have stepped in with their support. They will do whatever they feel fit with their shares manipulating the price with their sells.
So here we are three months to go to results and exciting times, I would never go as far as Thomas and suggest that I am 100% certain of good results but all evidence up until now supports a great outcome. All fingers crossed, we are very much at the races still approaching the final furlong for results.
Excellent post exactly, why on earth people are spouting off about the finance is beyond me. This is a big trial and that is exactly what the money is for! If we have to raise funding for part 2 great bring it on as that will surely mean good results from this trial. The board have always said that they are fully funded until June 20 but this obviously does not include a further trial.
The board in my opinion cannot go much further than saying exactly what they have other than telling us it actually works, all signs point to good results, Ken and the team have bought the trial in on budget , what more can they do. It truly surprises me what some intelligent posters are saying , perhaps they have sold and are trying to kill the price in order to buy back in.
Whatever anyone’s thoughts are off JB does not matter at this time. Ken announced to the analysts seminar in February, who knows what we will find in the trials. Since the trials began Ken has now stated that we (the board) are very confidant regarding the trial results. Surely it cannot be another Punchy Numbers moment.
Daring after all the negativity yesterday some common sense at last. All very simple , is the trial going to be a success? If the answer is yes we will make a pile , if it is no we all loose our money. All discussions should be based around that subject only for the next three months , nothing else matter up until that point. All data that we have looks positive to me , simply a matter of fingers crossed.
There is nothing new in the statement that was not mentioned at the AGM. All looks great to me and very positive. The CEO said they were financed to June next year, yes if Futura go it alone with part 2 of the phase 3 study obviously further funds will have to be raised but this would be on the back of the expected good results hopefully coming in December. To me it looks a great time to buy.
Firstly I’d like to congratulate the poster who several months if not longer posted that he was writing to JB to say how Futura should trial cannabis along side our DermaSys.
Secondly I can only see this tie up with CBDerma as a complete vote of confidence in our existing trial with Med. imagine how CBDerma are going to look if the existing trial fails. Three months to go , it must just be the case of exactly good the results are.
Zwartkops, Yes indeed you are correct, the share price did reach that level for a short period of time. Still waiting though for your answer as to what information on this chat room is completely unfounded as you state in your posting the other day.
The fall out from the carnage of 2018 with the consequent dilution and sale of 87 million shares at just 7p is the reason why we are sticking in the 40p plus mark now. Investors as well as Lombard are selling stock covering themselves in case of bad results.
However with all data looking extremely positive and Ken having gone from saying in the February seminar , Who knows what we will find from the trials to his Proactive interview where he states that he is very confident on the results findings. Something must have changed between times for him to have said this.
Next week will be very interesting to see where exactly we stand , with the trial nearing its conclusion will there be any news to boost the share price. At the AGM the board stated that they were not expecting to hear back from MHRA until December on TPR. Consequently its looking as though December is the make or break month in all areas.
Last November at the meeting for the dilution, Angela banged on about keeping a tight reign on finances. Then we have the share price sitting at around the 6-7p mark at the beginning of this year, this will result in nice bonus shares being allocated to directors at the beginning of next year. Finally the amount of monies raised from private investors from the dilution equated to around £250k , a years salary for JB , BEFORE BONUS!
It sucks! Shareholders wouldn’t mind if incentives were issued for performance but this sticks in the throat. What is the chairman doing? Does he represent shareholders interests?
