take a look at these two videos from a chap called Dan Hurd who prospects on the Fraser river. I'm sure some of you will already have come across him. They are quite entertaining videos, with claim jumpers and everything. This Dan has had heart surgery and has to take it easy, so he goes prospecting!!!

H, thanks for the info. I've just seen your other post. I don't think it's surprising. I think MTR are acting as a fund, looking to the future and getting early best value for their shareholders. That's fine. Investment in the side shows can only be good for the attraction in the GGP Big Top.

Yes, GGP get another mention in that RNS as being 'adjacent'. MTR increased their shareholding in our 'neighbour' ARV by 1,857,305 shares to 1.15% of the share capital. ARV are cheaper but more of a risk. MTR could have put their money in GGP instead. Who knows, maybe they have, under the notifiable percentage for the moment.

Morning Peeps, I had a look at the KWNews link. The site looked like a joke site, full of sensationalist hyperbole, with extra-large red and blue print headlines. I'm trying to find out who the owners are but I can't so far. Anybody know?

Anyway, thanks Bamps for the Ernest Giles update on the mining rights. I was going to ask that. I'm wondering what with climate change, how the drilling will go this year. I know Newcrest/Greatland have a good track record for safety but Australia's optimal periods to mine are April/May and Sept/Oct, yes? I don't see them stopping unless it gets up in the 50s.
