Only important insomuch as it firms up the trendline on higher support.

That’s predictable and on a weak day for gold price bodes well for the chartists.

Concern about spread is just more psychological pain to see a new position heavily in the red along with the rest of one’s portfolio

I don’t see this happening now imho. The recent churn has been healthy and this feels like a solid base now. Just too much of a good news prospect to weaken further. All conjecture of course but I’ve taken the opportunity of several morning tops up.

Another 20,000 for me - trend is upwards!

Anyone else feel hypocritical investing in mining companies that cause widespread land destruction and massive emission impacts? As I get older I just go with the flow feeling that I cannot make any positive difference. Has GGP got any mitigation in place to offset its activities? I really ought to check. ATB
