All quiet on all fronts! Calm trading waters - most have taken their positions. Encouraging to see base formed at this price.

So what happens after book build is closed?

Scenario 1 - achieved 15.25 and price surges above that. All good. My existing holdings are now worth a lot more!

Scenario 2 - achieves 12.5p - ok kept plenty of power dry to top up on the open market.

Win Win !!

If it was oversubscribed the book build would have closed by now. It hasn’t because it’s a no brainer unattractive offer. At least see know that much!

Hi Busted

This has been a unique situation and has caused much consternation. I personally cannot see why anyone would take up the offer. Imagine if anyone offered you a product for an unknown price and unknown quality. It makes little sense and that’s why the book build hasn’t been quickly closed. Otherwise the share price would be back on track - instead it’s stuck awaiting the outcome of this nonsense. All just short term noise though!

Surely it works both ways! If the price is being temporarily suppressed - exploit the current cheapness!!

One important factor is the declining US dollar which seems to be drifting lower day by day - that will by itself increase the gold price so needs to be discounted to see the true POG

Manipulation is the name of the game everywhere not just AIM. And guess what - we’re staying on AIM. Investing means accepting abuse and manipulation but doesn’t matter to long term holders. I see there’s a 13.7 low traded today. What was that about!!

Why call 100,000 shares paltry?? Unless you are very wealthy it’s a decent wedge and to many investors especially youngsters it’s sizeable.

That strategy used to work in “normal” times when AIM was a fertile ground for promising company shares to be rewarded with decent gains. It’s a waste land now. I had 10-15 AIM shares over the past five years and lost on all of them. Even good companies with a profit downgrade like HVO crash and burn. Just not worth the risk IMHO.
