At least one LSE poster has tracked me down to a different platform and stock, to berate my opinions on GCAT.

It seems thst when things go wrong, there are some in society who want to absolve themselves of whatever personal actions they have taken, by shifting the blame and focus onto others.

Some people just need to grow up and realise that they and they alone are responsible for the actions that they take. Also always always do your own research, even if that is to independently check what is being posted here.

I stopped posting here and reading frankly, as I got sick and tired of having fingers pointed in my direction, with accusations of ramping. A ramper in my view is someone who encourages people to buy. I have never given that advice to the best of my recollection but I did give my personal views on what I thought was happening and the potential. Ramping should not be confused with positivity and opinion. Some here struggle with the concept of context - be that a poster’s comment or what is happening at GCAT.

I’m as frustrated as any investor here that we are not relisted and producing again. I am still optimistic but am I happy - of course not. The timescales have been unacceptable but it is what it is.

My personal opinion (not a ramp !! ) is that the underlying asset, gold, and its appreciating value, will see this come good. Robbie is balks deep in his personal investment here and I believe is tenacious and determined to make this good.

I will not post again until there is tangible and I hope positive news. I’m sure that even this post will create a few rocks being thrown - for expressing my hope - so be it. But I personally have not given up here.

Are people looking at the placing price and the SP today and previous days before making comments ??

Clearly there are posters here who have little experience in business.

There was never a deadline - there was a target date date. Virtually every business has targets and target dates - it’s how collectively a group work to a common goal. Target dates are not written in stone - with many moving parts and parties involved they will flex. The goal hasn’t moved.

Posters displaying naivety to try and score points but in the process underlining their lack of business acumen.

And relax

I’m confident about 2 things -

news of a deal will arrive in due course - I always thought today was a long shot given the numerous parties involved over a holiday period

The second thing is that Omar will be acutely aware of investor sentiment and expectations and he will not miss the opportunity to tweet a message today or tomorrow along the lines of happy new year and 2025 being hugely exciting if not transformational.

I’m very excited.

I fully understand your sentiment Espen and very much hope your are right in the timeline delivery. My observation about the Swiss Railway was when I was considering the number of law firms that would be involved in this contract and then the relative Board meetings etc. bringing it all together during a holiday period will me a minor miracle as any one part of the complex process might come unhinged temporarily as lawyers go backwards and forwards.

I am super confident that a deal will be done but if it doesn’t hit the arrival time on the timetable I will understand why.

Fingers crossed you are 100% correct however!

RP - the first question is what are the terms of a Farm In. Next question will be - are funds needed in the short term or will there be sufficient funds to undertake the initial drill programme- whatever the plan looks like like. One step at a time.

Personally I will not fret over a few days or even a few weeks delay to news. Nothing in the big scheme. We are an exploration company, not the Swiss Railway. I am super confident of a fantastic 2025 however.

Wasn’t that deal approved by the gov in Feb 2024?

We know that the Namibian Gov are pro oil and creating wealth from their natural resources- highly unlikely that they would trip a deal up at the last hurdle. The way these things normally work is that they will have had the gov on board throughout the process.
