So I along with many here have been here a few years and I had put at 3 to 5 year time frame on this about a year or so ago with a commitment to probably 10 years if GGP was still around as I have a slug in the pension as well. I have to confess that the last 4 to 5 months have surpassed even my optimistic hopes. You have to take stock with everything in life from time to time and this evening I found myself taking stock and re-evaluating my time lines and expectations. I have always been a saver in the Marshmallow Experiment way of thinking (look it up) and find myself in a position financially that I have never been in before as a result of GGP. The numbers do not matter - they are relative to our personal circumstances - but based on the evidence that the drill results are giving, I am certainly revising my personal forecasts in 2 directions - timescales are reducing and realistic expectations rising.
We all have our own internal calculator working with this stock - refining as we go depending on our own circumstances.
Many thanks for your ongoing company and insights - this BB is addictive - like a family we have our squabbles but these are quickly rushed aside for the greater good. I wish I was able to join fellow posters at some point at some location - labels on our chests with our handles from here - that would be great fun and I would owe several of you a drink or three. I know that there is one in the offering but my location will prevent me from joining. I would like to see a post GGP AGM in 3 years time - all booked into to some flashy London hotel and GH and CH on the top table for a gala dinner. Stuff of dreams chaps.

Hi JB . 50% would great but wondering whether NC would bite at this stage. Much will depend I guess on the learning they have gained on Hav and whether there are sufficient read across to SW at this early stage. I would love for you to be correct! With these things I always consider the positions of the party on the other side of the table. I dislike the term win win....but that is what we should be looking for here. I trust GH implicitly to make the best deal for us. Fascinating.

ME? NC!

My personal preference for what it is worth would be a JV with ME because of the economies offered by Telfer with say a 65% interest at this stage given lack of drilling to date but with an increase dollar commitment for each stage given the potential size, say USD 100m.
There you go...my suggestion for terms.
Have at it guys and gals.....I am sure there will be many contrarian views and that is how I learn.

I think that everyone is convinced Mush but the likes of UBS and other financial service providers can not say unequivocally until official confirmation is given. They would open themselves up to all sort of trouble otherwise.
On a related subject though I am very curious as to what is going to unlock the big II money. Confirmation that all permissions are granted? The MRE? Start of the decline? Maybe just not one key? Like watching a movie by your favourite director. You know you are going to enjoy it ...suspense, twists and turns, sub plots, favourite characters and a satisfying ending. Loving it.

In my previous post I said I was listening to what was said or not said about Scallywag. Having listened nothing directly but 2 clues to my ears.

2. Reference to hoping for more good news for investors shortly.
My ears are hearing forthcoming Farm In announcement for SW but appreciate I have a conscious bias here. Time will tell.

Today's interview (surely there will be one) will be very interesting. For me it will all be about what is or what is not said about Scallywag. I am now wondering if NC and GGP are in Farm In negotiations with SB wanting to cut the earliest deal on the best terms.
Could be wrong and GH might elaborate on a timeline to start drilling. Let's see.

My high expectations just got a whole lot higher and having thrown the kitchen sink at this at the start of the year, I am glad I broke every investment rule going.
