What a contrast to the presentation last week which I will chalk up to format and give SD the benefit of the doubt.
I endorse observations made by others this morning on his performance and of course more to the point the substance of what he was saying, that was easily overlooked last week. I think we got a far more in depth view into his approach today - clearly all about adding shareholder value and whilst nothing is off the table, it came across loud and clear to me that his preference is to continue to add that value through working through these projects in a disciplined fashion, looking for further acquisitions (which must be difficult given the focus by the majors now) and interesting looking at the internal governance to make the company even more attractive to institutions (a hint at moving to the main market at some point?).
I am very happy with our CEO's performance today and look forward to further updates. The market will catch up with the majority of existing investor sentiment here - I am confident.

It is a quandary isn't it - enjoy the low SP in the hope that funds materialise to top up or start to watch the inevitable gains now....I guess either scenario is ok at the moment if time is on your side - I am in that happy and fortunate position and at the end of the day I have absolutely no influence on which way it goes of course.

Jet - you are right - at least Kryten made me laugh!
Clearly presenting in this format is not Shaun's strength and I suspect he will reflect and there are plenty of media coaches out there that he can look to. I think he was far more animated in the Q&A and his body language (eyes looking up) were indicative of a man in thought. I have no doubt that this is a very capable CEO and would be effective in a one to one / group situation - he just needs to hone his public presentation and inject some passion that GH had in spades - always hard to follow a class act though!
The underlying messages were on point but delivered in a staccato fashion. Lessons to be learned and lets give the chap the benefit of the doubt and another chance - we all have off days!

They could at least shown a photo with a decline started - i.e a tunnel. I am one of GGP's biggest supporters but they need to up the PR game please.

I think Shaun knows his business and more but the video reminds me of Kryten from Red Dwarf.

I lifted this paragraph from the net. Substitute the bouncing ball for GGP news and it works as well.
When I started investing many years ago we used to get an annual chairman's statement on the back of the companies audited accounts. Now the expectation is almost a daily blog on progress from the CEO (ok I exaggerate but only a little).
Remember GGP is a mining exploration company and this activity takes time.
Remember we have a JV with one of the worlds largest mining companies and we have a world class find.
Remember all the positive drill results to date.
Remember that the SP is outside of your control
Remember that you do control the timeframe that you are invested here for.

Apologies is this turns into a duplicated post - strange things happening when I try t post this morning.
I know nothing about mining other than what I have gleaned on these forums but I take a huge amount of comfort from the fact that SAU would have done their due diligence on BMV's capability to open these mines and the willingness on the BMV BoD to defer salary in lieu of shares speaks volumes on their personal confidence of where this is going.
I am delighted to be invested here - more so now the deal is done and I only hope that the news flow increases now and it would be great if their website could be updated and used more as a shop window for existing and potential investors.

All very relevant observations and we could see any number and combination come together over coming months.
The main thing though is for Hav drilling and decline to continue at the same pace and for time to pass. What can individual investors add to the mix? Patience. Simply patience.

Good to see that the SP is holding up well after yesterdays gains. Jus the start imo.

Suspect that one or two might be chasing rainbows elsewhere and watching GGP closely to get back in. Nothing to do with the fundamentals of this company which are off the scale positive. Just give it time as has been said over and over again.

Interesting to see whether we get profit taking after yesterday or people realise that this has great potential for bags in the relatively short term and move the SP back towards and beyond the high. I took the opportunity to increase my holding yesterday and look forward to more news from the company which I hope will be more frequent now we have the deal done. Just to remind everyone of align research's conviction buy with an initial target of 16.72p.
