I think it might be working better than ever - i.e. filtering but not leaving us with the green filtered notification. That is what it appears like on my screen anyway.

Actual is circa 19.27 to 19.44 - fairly tight in fact.

They can change sentiment relatively quickly in my view by putting up a decent website with recent news - it doesn't have to be forward looking at the moment for the reasons Moneymaker rightly mentions but it can look professional and uptodate - that would be a very good start and I would have thought relatively quick to achieve.

As an observation - the relatively small value of transactions taking place do not warrant the % SP drop. It underpins the requirement of the BoD to up their game - no - start their game! - of PR and raising awareness of what we have in terms of potential.

Max - but why would they want to sell their shares cheap? - this makes no sense.

I agree this is very disappointing in the short term but I have to remain confident that SAU will exert influence to ensure the BoD deliver here.

Given the issuance of the salary sacrifice shares announced today, it is certainly in their personal financial interests to move this forward and bring the potential to the wider market via some decent PR and dare I say - a website that is now kept uptodate.

This extract from the RNS speaks volumes:
"As part of his appointment, Mr Toon will receive up to 2,000,000 performance shares subject to the achievement of certain performance criteria."
I would be amazed if one of those performance criteria were not successful admission to the full market on the LSE.
Time will tell.

For new potential investors as well as a timely reminder for existing investors, this seems like a good juncture to take a step back and consider the macro view.
I am not going regurgitate all the projects - they are on the GGP website and many more knowledgable posters have listed with their thoughts. But just consider:
- the diversification of our licenses and structures of ownership & partnerships, keeping the most promising future discoveries 100% owned
- the partnership with NC who are also providing for our immediate Banking requirements and the the world class mining expertise that they bring to the table and the door step processing plant hungry for raw material
- the jurisdiction - one of the most stable and pro mining locations in the world
- the future demand for copper based on essential need from the planet rather than sentiment and probable future demand for gold given global economic conditions
- a new CEO driven to make GGP into a multi billion / multi asset company, transitioning the company along the value chain from pure explorer to explorer /miner
- the very short timeframe in mining terms to monetisation from Hav - does anyone truly believe that this is not going to happen at this stage?
I am sure that my list can be added on several points that I have overlooked but as I said I have taken the macro view this morning. I am a glass half full man - and I think I need to get a bigger glass!

Worth adding. Do not underestimate the importance of a good cfo and the financial credibility they can bring to support strategy as well as freeing up SD to bring on more IIs.

As a die hard GGP supporter over a number of years now, I can sometimes can get a little blasé with news and presentations even though the news has been nothing other than superb in my view. Well today Shaun made me sit up with a renewed sense of excitement - his enthusiasm and energy backed by a level headed, phased approach to the future is just what GGP needs from a CEO at this stage. Well done sir!

I only hope that the BoD revise their definition of time - just look how long it took to get the deal over the line. Come on BMV - lets get moving with some pace now please.

Hi Ricky. I think the best most can do here is to point you to the rns,s. Anything other than the official notifications will likely be opinion at the moment sprinkled with a healthy dollop of hope! For what it is worth I have been invested for a little while yet and believe the potential is huge but the BoD need to up their communications and pr game.

SP will slide if people start to get fed up but having waited this long to see the deal come to fruition and with the huge potential here, they might want to think again as to why they brought in, in the first place. A profit is always a profit but I am prepared to be greedy here and that means more patience.

Agreed speedy.
We obviously have several prospects - all at different stages of exploration and even our current flagship project at Hav is in it's infancy of establishing how much mineralisation is present. Any quantitive assessment of value of even Haverion in isolation is therefore a non starter at the moment for any prospective purchaser or for that matter the BoD. Remember if we are only talking about an asset of the company and not a buy out of the company, then it will be a BoD decision alone in the normal course of events if and when a full valuation can be established (years away I presume) - they do not need shareholder permission.
If we are talking about a hostile bid then a few things spring to mind - first remember that this means that our BoD are against the takeover and they would lay out the case to shareholders why. A hostile bid would normally need a majority of voting shares to succeed - II's and PI's alike would look at the pros and cons against the forecast backdrop of future POG and world economies. If you want to take the cash now, what are you going to do with it to guard against future inflation? If you are an II - how do you replace future prospective earnings for your investors?
Then we have Newcrest on the sideline - do they want a different partner for the Hav JV and potentially the Juri JV? Would they prop up GGP BoD in some way to support a defence against a hostile bid. They might at this point have a commercial justification for purchasing GGP shares to force up the SP and undermine any hostile offer.
So nothing is out of the question but the deeper I delve into a scenario of asset disposal or hostile takeover, the more I am firmly of the opinion that GGP's asset valuations are too immature at this stage for any corporate entity to make an offer that would be acceptable to:
1. our BoD
2. a majority of GGP voting rights
3. and importantly the acquisitioner's shareholders (they might not need permission but their BoD would have to justify or face the subsequent backlash).
Just my view at things currently stand.

Agreed. Destiny is now 100% in the BoD's hands and one would hope that they have been working on maturing a plan of action whilst the legal team has been working on finalising the deal - even an high level update would be welcome at this point.

Robbie - when was he asked the question in the interview about it being a distinct possibility? I might have missed that.
