Whatever they are they don't amount to much volume. The biggest trade is a 5m sell yet the s/p still rises.

I'm not negative, I'm just observing and stating facts. Alba has been a huge let down so far, there's no other way to put it. If you want to see my upbeat posts go to the Groc BB where I'm expecting great things and have nothing but admiration for Stefan. It will probably take a Groc rerate to save Alba unless George can come up with something company making.

Still only rising on micro trades, I'd prefer to see serious money going in. And as I've been in Alba for 6-8 years, I think I'll stick around to see if this latest jump turns out to be a P&D or not.

Then factor in the value addition to be had from processing the raw graphite ourselves into spherical. We're currently cheap as chips!

....and that's without drilling and scoping out the graphite areas adjacent to Amitsoq. Who knows how much more graphite there is to discover there? Kirk Adams said the grab samples there were of a similar 20%+ graphite grade.

I thought more like 28% but that's not factoring in recent warrants which may bring that down a little.

Alba should follow any rise in Groc but that depends on market sentiment. Perceived poor BoD performance at Alba may weigh on sentiment leading to a disconnect between the Alba s/p and the underlying net asset value.

I don't ramp at all, I just remain hopeful that if a company the size of AA saw fit to enter into a JV which has the potential to leave Arcm with 20% of one or more tier 1 copper assets in Zambia, then their optimism must be pretty well placed. I don't laud our BoD at all, to my mind they come across as self serving and shifty. Nevertheless, should the copper be there in the quantities we are hoping for, I expect to be well rewarded for my patience despite any perceived shortcomings I may see in the BoD.

Yes, as with most long term mining investments the time to buy in is just prior to the multibag catalyst event. There are no prizes for prescience in this game, those spotting potential early on are usually rewarded by being diluted almost to oblivion along the long road to asset discovery, buyout or production. Timing is everything and we early investors from Ortac days would probably have to say we wished we'd only recently come across Arcm at these modest s/p levels. The BoD are the only ones to have made a decent steady income over the years but I find it hard to criticise them about the Zambia licenses as AA are in full control here. We can only wait with optimism that AA can eventually track down a tier 1 asset or two leading to a buyout well into the $100s of millions.

That's a reason I went in big (for me) with Groc. Stefan stands out as open, honest, humble and competent, running a great project, in contrast to some of the shifty self serving spivs at the head of most of my previous investments.

Graphite offtakes or a sale of Dundas may offset capex costs. IMO it would be good to drill and scope out Kaalaq asap to see just how much extra graphite we have to bargain with.

Yes let the small time traders try and influence things until they get their 10% but I'll sit on my hands until we're valued in the £10s or even £100s of millions.

As for the Dundas ilmenite project further north, it sensibly appears to have taken a back seat while we concentrate on graphite. Bluejay too (now known as 80M) looked to have ceased production there in favour of newer projects in Scandinavia. However, according to a Sept 2024 RNS, they have completed further hard rock drilling of the area and have increased the ilmenite tonnage estimates of their license area. Our own adjacent area is contiguous with their so hopefully it will exhibit similar characteristics.

Yes interesting to revisit the old information which led us to remain invested here. I went back to Zak Mir's post IPO YT video with Kirk Adams 3 years ago - we're reminded that the Kaalaq deposit seems to be "significantly larger" than Amitsoq, and of a similar high grade. Mention of a 40ktpa scalable, modular output too which suggests there's plenty of opportunity to scope out the whole area and be able to supply both the EU and the US. Of course raw graphite concentrate will attract a far lower price than the processed spherical battery ready product.
