Only in Johnny Come Lately Trader's Universe can a 0.1p dividend be remotely described as massive when compared to the eventual value loss to Prem shareholders of 5% of up to 14bn tonnes of Circum potash. Short termism at it's most value destructive...

£8m Mcap still sounds pretty paltry, do they have a lot of debt or summat? Or is it the lingering Lenigas effect?

I wish I had stuck the whole of my SIPP into a commercial metals ETF instead of AIM. OK there would be ups and downs but I wouldn't have lost over 80% of the fund with little chance of recouping it (unless the likes of Arcm hit 40p+)

I've never sold any Arc/Ortac shares. I just find it frustrating when people post future predictions of metals prices before we have found very much. Same thing happened at BMR with regular updates on how zinc and vanadium prices were predicted to boom and then the CEO ended up signing 90% of the assets away for a pittance. 'counting chickens' etc.

To develop alone or enough to interest a bigger miner to buy us out?
The former could be quite small, just enough to keep a modest plant running - e.g.
15tph @1% cu should give enough to cover present Mcap but not much more, IMO. To interest a bigger miner, I would think they'd need 1m+ tonnes of contained metal, allowing say a ten year mine life at 100kts/year. JV territory would be somewhere between those resource sizes. These are just my own guesstimates though..

If only we had some in commercial quantities...

That's less than Prem yet previous posts say they own 70% of Sonara, the biggest lithium deposit in the world and have already progressed it beyond DFS to BFS. Why such a paltry valuation and why should we expect any more for Prem since Zulu is years behind Sonara?

I would prefer it if we could elect individually whether to receive Circum shares themselves or a cash equivalent. I expect that would be too cumbersome though.

Remember the stick those two traders used to get for suggesting it would drop from 1.5p to 1.1p? If only...

I don't know how much clout shareholders have or who owns the bulk of them but, in the absence of a successful drill into ST this side of winter, I think the so far totally ineffectual David Fraser needs to go - assuming the company even survives much longer thereafter.

Probably curled up in a corner dumbfounded that GR has apparently managed to turn Prem around while NvS appears to be floundering. I shouldn't speak too soon though...

To crave a Circum payout equal to the current s/p is pretty pathetic really, given it's potential and the reason GR bought into it in the first place. Short term instant gratification for peanuts, complete traders mentality. IF the epo is supposedly going to have quality miners suddenly gagging to get into bed with us, why the need to cash in our stake in a potentially lucrative alternative project, that too situated outside of the current basket case of Zimbabwe?

I hope they come up with a competent JV partner this time. GR once admitted that the Zulu project was 'daunting'. Respect to him for admitting to his own limitations but to then only come up with a company like Cadence with their own financial limitations, was rather disappointing.

Phillip1976 - agreed, no chance on evidence of previous form, both the croc and the roach will need to change their spots!

I did once predict 10-20p but we have since been diluted 2-3 fold and sentiment has moved toward cashing our Circum holding in early rather than letting it grow. So now maybe 3-5p is the ballpark potential? I haven't factored anything in for the new manganese venture. These are all just my own wild guesswork and not to be taken too seriously - as I'm always wrong! :-p

IF there is lithium in good amounts at Zulu, IF GR can find a JV partner with deeper pockets than Cadence and not end up giving 80% or more away, IF Zimbabwe doesn't collapse into a failed state and civil unrest, IF the Trump trade wars don't result in a global recession, IF a viable alternative to lithium batteries proves a long way off, IF George doesn't dilute into every rise to fund his lifestyle etc etc, then we could one day be in the pennies, IMO. We do need a few ducks to line up, but after the dreadful couple of years we've had, (please God) we surely deserve a break. :-)

It always looks good on paper but nothing is ever a slam dunk where either the Zim govt or George are involved.

A lot of short term traders on here steering expectations. I for one, would prefer to retain as much of any Circum payment for progressing Zulu. Since the exploration area will be many times greater it's likely that all the net Circum funds (and more) will be required to drill it.
The prospect of Circum one day adding 2-3p to the s/p has already faded with the constant dilution. With the never ending wait for Circum people now have little patience and are happy to talk about cashing in just at a time when Circum will be starting on its journey to being a multi $bn company. Sentiment is already against waiting for better long term Circum returns, let's at least make sure what remains from our share is fully utilised to get Zulu scoped out, rather than doled out for beer money and then find ourselves short of Zulu funding later.
