You know the ones — "Namibia, 10GW by 2035" with no grid, no customer, no money. That’s where your stat lives.
But this isn’t that. This is a government-backed project, funding approved, permitting underway, supplier selected. According to BloombergNEF and others, once a project hits this level with public support, the FID success rate jumps to 40–60% — not 4%.
So if you're going to quote stats, at least have the range to know which ones apply.
