I for one would love BT to buy talktalk, I have been with Talktalk for about 10 years and you can never talk to anyone when you need to so I can understand the low customer satisfaction level talked about.

Con123 you are wrong, remember I sold lots at 80p about 2 weeks ago and bought back in at 76.8p so I am sitting ok without shorting. again.

Come on we all know we want this to finish above 26p, but we all also know that by close it will be back to 24.5p ish.

Goodness what's going on the SP is over 25 p, is n't it funny how you feel much better when the SP starts to move up even when we are thousand of pounds down. Is there some hope yet.

That's the whole point in appointing a person who has had nothing to do with the business so far, if we get a well informed and experienced leader who knows how to make the right moves in the business world to create confidence the stock / business will rocket . He / she just knows how to motivate the staff , city etc and then who knows.

Otherwise it's the same old thing with MM trying to rob us of what's left for peanuts again.

So just why has the SP gone up so much today, is there about to be a news flash regarding a deal of some sorts.

Yes he is trying to stop the SP going high knowing many will lose out, these deals have been done before many times where the buyer takes on the debt and business for pennies and the current BOD's don't really have a choice in the end.

I wouldn't be buying rev now thinking it will rise to 20p or so because it could be 2p next week.

Where does it marry up or end. We have all done it over the years you buy and sell many shares and then there i share that defies the odds and now it's THG.

You buy in at a price which then goes down, you know, you think and believe it's good value so you top up bringing the ave down because you know it's got to go back up and while you wait why not get your ave back a bit earlier .

Now at 23p ish and we have all been stupid , clever and believe it's only a question of time, but where does reality kick in?

You get to the point thinking it can't go bust it's just time until you get a leader like MM, it must be worth at least 60p-80p

Yes MA bought £10m shares of thg for the demerger but did he take part in ingen, I don't think he took any % of ingen and just kept his thg holding and that's why he now has 12.6%. Otherwise his % would have gone down in the swap

Simple, brokers have been dropping SP so they could buy more stock for MA and announce it after the market has closed. It happens all the time when someone with great contacts and good brokers work on their behalf .

Maybe now there is a shortage of stock which must push up the SP again, let's see today.

Maybe now is the time to top up as we now know Thg is not going bust with MA buying more.

Just a question of time before the SP recovers now.

So MA now holds 12.6%, we all know he put in £ millions to buy 10% to go into ingen but if he hold 12.6% now does that mean he didn't take up his ingen shares at all and lose a % of Thg shares.

Maybe is plan is to take Thg over.

Yes I have some 65k and voted out, but still can't understand who is selling at this price. I can't surely be any one that has bought in the last week as they all paid higher and selling at a loss.

Double buys to sells and still going down. Time now for someone to strike at 80p and see what happens at the AGM.

It doesn't matter if we vote or not, the SP is being played with games as there are 50% more buys than sells and the SP still goes down.

This must still be worth 60p-80p minimum.

Yes keep things simple, I sold a chunk at 80p last week and hoping to buy them back at 74p-75p which I just missed yesterday but think it will hit 74p ish this week.

So has Demotion been confirmed yet and where , surely we should get an RNS to say.

Why top up now, until we get info on in or out of 250 it will be at this level all day.

My guess is many have sold due to fear it will drop out of the 250 in which case the SP could drop to 20 ish. By all means gamble but you might come un-stuck, better to wait and buy on Thursday / Friday if it drops to 20p.

Since the commencement of the share buyback programme announced on 7 March 2024, the Company has repurchased 322,719,975 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 72.82 pence per share.

These purchases are the last purchases to be made under the irrevocable programme between ITV, on the one hand, and Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc, on the other hand, announced on 7 March 2024, as that irrevocable programme has been completed.
