Bcl, considering the nearly 6 year wait, and my further gamble since the SP crashed, I’m not bull$11ting when I say I’m happy to wait for double figures here. It will be boom or bust and I’m more than comfortable with that. I’m also young enough to wait.

There has to be a ‘master’ plan in place, after sitting on an SML Application for nigh of 3 years I find unfathomable that LC would go off an unilaterally apply for a sub-division if 7 MLs if he hadn’t already had something to do with them! He’s spoken in the past that Coal without a cast iron plan to use it is pretty useless in its own right. Therefore, you’d have to assume that he and the Minister for Minerals and Mining Commission have jointly come up with a plan to monitise MCPP and expidite the issuance of the MLs.

Considering our experience in Moz, if I had to completely put a theory out there, I’ll say part Tanesco / part SAPP/EAPP offtake.

Even when the SML went to 'application recommended' by the mining commission it never went to application recommended on the MEM Cadastre. So here's hoping the mining application updates this last week where getting the ducks in a row before final Ministerial sign off. And why not, we are due a break.

This has been ongoing since the start of last week, Bcl. Larger sized sells / buys’ (the trouble is with the single protected transaction still out there it’s nigh on impossible to tell which is which unless someone claims it) going through and then small change ‘buy / sells’ going through to steady and keep the SP in a tight trading range. They’ll still take a 7 figure sell off me just now without going to NT so someone is clearly still collecting deep in the background.

Beyond that, LC where the f*** is one of our PPAs / CSAs? Rigor mortice is setting in here!

I think Aerial is right, I doubt this actually effects Kibo greatly now. Theyclearly can fund this thing and no construction works have even commenced yet, 12 years to get it full operational? So looking at mid 2030s if it really does go ahead (50/50 IMHO). More chance of the money turning up in a Magafooly bank account in the Middle East somewhere and no dam actually being built.

I see the original application numbers remain the same for the MLs so you can only assume the TG wanted each one amended (for whatever reason).

You could be on to something there, Gillie, when overlapping the original SML Application it doesn’t transpose onto ML/00681/2019, perfectly. The Portal still shows the two original applications.

There has been a small slither of land left off the ML at the very top of the North West corner of the ML from that of the SML.

As a wild guess? Some mundane and pointless bureaucractic exercise that effected two of the licence applications but not the other five!

It must ‘comply’ from a regulatory perspective otherwise the original SML wouldn’t have been recommended for approval by the Mining Commission would it?

From two weeks ago. Interesting passage to us:

“We will also soon award special mining licences to two companies to build large-scale mines, whose individual investment is above $100 million,” he added.

So, as we have taken our SML to an ML I guess it’s gone from 3 SMLs to 2.

As our ML is the sole responsibility of the Minister in question saying thesebullish things sure to heaven sake he’ll be quick about our MLs......

Interestingly, the dates on two of the ML Applications have been updated on the MEM Portal.

ML/00681/2019 now said it was applied for on 06/08/2019 (Tuesday) and ML/00680/2019 was applied for on 07/08/2019 (Wednesday). What does that mean? God knows. But let us pray it was for some last minute bureaucratic reason before the Minerals Minister signs the bloody things!

That’s a very good point, gone is my optimism on keeping to any kind of programme. But the assets are huge, we just need the ball to start rolling our way to make the value here rocket. KAT is an example of that, we could be on the cusp of a golden age IMHO for the Au Markets. It could be in the right place at the right time. Then you add Bots, Moz, Taz and the UK. It’s easy to see how the MCAP goes north in a hurry.

That’s not to say it’s not utterly demoralising here at the moment. Because it is!! I continue to add, however, I won’t an average of 2p(something) ready for the SP recovery.
