They post daily shareholding numbers because they are required to by the SEC.
Why would I buy and sell for them? Simply pointing out how a mkt cap weighted index, rebalanced quarterly works, pretty common knowledge in the financial space.

Kieffy just to dispel this myth. GDXJ don't actively buy/sell between rebalance periods to get back to the target GGP allocations. This change in shareholding between rebalance periods is driven by investor subscriptions/redemptions.
Investors redeem = GDXJ sell holdings proportionally across the portfolio to fund those.
Investors redeem = GDXJ buy holdings proportionally across the portfolio to allocate that cash.
Otherwise they would be constantly chasing their tail buying and selling to hit the GGP target allocation daily. The change in GGP share price/mkt cap only comes into play quarterly.

Alarm bells because SD hasn’t bought a huge wedge?
It’s his job to be building the business and adding shareholder value. No need for him buy in directly.
He may well end up with a holding anyway through options / share awards as part of remuneration if he delivers.
Some here were calling for him to buy like GH as the price dropped “to install some confidence”. That’s not how it works, he isn’t here to be trying to fight the SP silliness. He’s here to grown the fundamentals of the business which will eventually drive the SP to its true value.
I understand the desire to have BODs invested on AiM as it stops shareholders getting rinsed by boards who just raise and raise at the expense of shareholders. Skin in the game keeps them on track.
However GGP is a lot different to other AIM companies, it’s well ahead in that front so don’t see the mad rush for him to buy in.

That's it for me, I'm out. The bad press LFTs are getting makes the chance of a government u-turn on rapid testing ever more likely. Outside the Avacta bubble Operation Moonshot has become a big joke.
And there are better long term prospects than Avacta's cancer therapies.

A bit like those self scanning guns at Tesco pedro where it is randomly spot checked. Can be gamed (and I am sure some do) but I guess if you make the penalties for being caught cheating it harsh enough, that's a deterrent in itself.
Add to that most people are generally fairly law abiding.

AVCT themselves have never stated 5 mins, that was the HuffPost article AVCT have always quoted 10-15 mins. So 10-20 reiterated in today's RNS (which I am pretty sure 20 mins is a cover your a*se figure) is in line with what we have been expecting all along. Simples

Just because AVCT isn't on the list doesn't mean it wont have an impact. People will be having to close out positions across the board to cover those leveraged positions.
I think it is worth noting for people wondering why AIM is red across the board. There is a knock on effect.

I'm not sure but it has clearly been a bit of a shambles on the CONDOR front and they have hindered progress. As benben said, I got a hint of annoyance in the Mologic RNS too. Along the lines of "if you're going to continue to drag your heels we will go and do it ourselves".....I hope it has also meant the govt aren't top of the list for sales if we have the demand > supply privately at a better price.
Despite the delays, I do think it is a good thing not to be 100% tied and reliant on the govt. They have shown how turncoat they can be!

Correct scaredy_cat, the HL holding noted is nominee holdings, so HL are legal owners on behalf of clients who are beneficial owners (I.e us lot on this bb).
Muck - that HL holding was last updated on Bloomberg as of 12th Jan so hard to say exactly what’s gone on from a PI holding perspective since then from that data

Interestingly, that increase is all a new position taken by BlackRock Institutional Trust Co NA, which is the asset mgnt arm as opposed to their own funds.

Richob - Just having a quick look at holdings on Bloomberg terminal. I can see as of COB yesterday an updated Blackrock holding was declared, up from 2.367m shares to 4.130m shares. So they have certainly been buying.

AVCT aren't on the list but I think its had an impact across AIM in general. NCYT are on there though :p

Worth noting that the re-trace could be because IG are calling on clients with a position in approx 900 small caps to cover their margin by 3pm this Friday and to close all spread bet and Cdfs by the end of March. This is having an impact across many small cap shares currently, AIM red across the board.
However, I agree with sensetalka Blyvoor delay is taking the p*ss and there comes a time to just cut the chord. Even if Haneti results are good, do you stick around for another eternity before they get to production? Very frustrating when fundamentals are so good but jack all happens apart form fund raises!
