VJ, broadly agree with your point, but even at current capacity (no expansions assumed), Tyseley + Germany recycling alone is worth ~£230–270m on a combined NPV basis 67-80(ish)p.

SG – I was trying to work out if there’s been a leak this week but the recent steady rise looks NdPr-led. Yesterday’s ~10% drop appears isn’t driven from a change in our fundamentals although we have had a long term seller ( probably not related)

Given the September cash position and ~£3.4m annual burn (+SPAC), I can’t see a near-term need for a raise ( should have something in the tank this September. If both plants are operational, this may be the point where further dilution risk fades if only to drive further expansion.

Reading the chat and X, I can see a lot of expertise stating about another raise, looking at September statements:-Cash position of US$2 million as at 30 September 2025 with a £3 million (US$4 million) successful equity raise in October 2025 post quarter end.

Plus the hopefully 15t of neo sold (best guess)raw or in product form, where do you currently see the requirement for a raise?

As discussed on the weekend let’s hope that Mkango is in the SEC quiet period ahead of the CPTK F-4. Once technical reports and valuations are being finalised, commentary is restricted — no timing or progress updates allowed.

Both the Songwe and Pulawy projects have been selected as Strategic Projects under the European Union Critical Raw Materials Act. Mkango has signed a Business Combination Agreement with Crown PropTech Acquisitions to list the Songwe Hill and Pulawy rare earths projects on NASDAQ via a SPAC Merger under the name Mkango Rare Earths Limited.

The very obvious answer for $USAR would be to buy HyProMag, which holds the patent for “Hydrogen Processing of Magnetic Scrap”, by far the lowest cost and most efficient technology for recycling NdFeB magnets.

Currently privately owned by UK-listed #MKA and TSX-listed $CTH.

One magnet recycling / re-manufacturing plant already up and running in the UK; the second to come online in Germany in the next month or two; and the first of at least three in the US, to begin construction in the next 2-4 months.

Mkango and CoTec are planning a NASDAQ listing of the US division later this year.

Watch out for US Gvt funding announcement - I believe it’s coming shortly.

Insanely under the radar, primarily due to US investors in general not bothering to look beyond their own exchanges.

Immense upside in both CoTec’s and Mkango’s share prices, relative to their US-listed peers.

Jam, if EXIM ultimately passes on providing a loan to Cotec/Magnito, based on the figures presented I’d suggest this reflects a lack of sufficient assurance around the business case at this stage (risk, structure, timing or mandate fit), rather than any indication that the underlying fundamentals of the project are not

I think that fact that, the UK has an operational plant and Germany is near production ( in the comings weeks) will put the cat amongst the pigeons.

When comparing-

MP Materials – only Western producer with real scale today, but already fully priced (oxide only).

USAR (Stillwater) – early prototype stage, real output still years away.

Mkango – already commercial in recycling, lowest capex route to magnets, multiple plants coming.

Good to see the SP is reflective.

Flundra, the last G7 finance meeting, Reeves was requested to join Japan and South Korea only to discuss recycling, this meeting was held on a Sunday before the general G7 finance ministers meeting, I can’t see that they were discussing anything else, after all what else do we have to offer as a viable option other than a pass to the local tip!.

If this is the right train of thought I’d imagine we’d see something on this in spring.

If only this were listed — surely it won’t be long before JT pushes this as an easy financing route (for the next hub). Coupled with the now-expected completion of commissioning (Germany), it would be a great start to February. Add in the updated Pulawy report feeding into the SPAC and things start to look very interesting.
