I’ve seen a lot statements today “not much of an RNS”, it’s the end of year financials, the additional plurb is just for deltas and overall achievement.

According to benny Mkango have given away the 7.4 tonnes of Neo, let’s wait for the rhetoric of hating on other PI for making money or taking profit.

Thankfully Kat has delivered another golden nugget, I’ll sleep tight with that insight.

Looking at the sp action over the last few weeks, part of the rise will be down to the opening ceremony tomorrow, I’d guess we’d still get a rise for the rest of this week from ( hopefully ) good PR fallout.

Tomorrow will be interesting to see if anything else falls out from the opening ceremony.

Siemens’ involvement is a meaningful signal — they’ve already integrated HyProMag’s recycled NdFeB magnets into a SIMOTICS servomotor rotor and showcased it publicly. That doesn’t happen without a reasonable level of technical confidence, even if it’s still early in the qualification process.

Today’s RNS makes it clear volumes are still modest, but the more important takeaway is that material is being actively tested across multiple applications and formats. At this stage, that’s exactly what you’d expect.

The ongoing development of higher-spec grades and broader product range also suggests they’re aligning closely with end-user requirements, which should help position them for future offtake agreements once qualification is complete.

Roll on next week as we know we’ll at least some big news and hopefully another jammed packed RNS to boot.

Someone on X stated that, the Brazil deal has been stopped due to government intervention, although the SP doesn’t reflect this, if it has fallen through they will be after another target.

And as biffa has already stated I can see the mine and Pul being sold off, but the recycling business could be more complex due to IP.

The lack of an RNS alongside today’s Siemens presentation may be linked to the ongoing SPAC process. While the news is clearly positive—and Siemens wouldn’t be involved lightly—there’s limited concrete detail beyond the presentation itself. Issuing an RNS at this stage, without substantive updates, could potentially be viewed negatively from a regulatory perspective.

Interesting re-post regarding Siemens, and the use of language “ Siemens and Hypromag are transforming old magnets into new high-performance components” the language reads like they are partners, maybe a feed stock partner and end customer rolled into one, i’m sure Siemens are the main supplier for MRI scanners and alike

Cheers @edsuk — I understand that HyProMag USA currently has a number of agreements in place, including stockpiling arrangements and a warehouse, and is progressing towards study completion. There’s also been a recent raise (I’m not entirely sure what this is for).

Do you know where the rest of the financing is expected to come from, and on what timeline?

Also, even accounting for Mkango Resources Ltd’s JT share and assuming zero tpa from the US project, we would still be producing more than this, which I guess is partly the point of the post.

Great re-post, but Mkango is a complex company and currently the assets listing on the NASDAQ are the Lancaster held “hill” and probably the more Jewell in the crown ( still trying to get head around this) the separation plant, the intent the de-spac IPO is to help get the wheels turning on both of these assets.

GLR1990, the RNS states-“ The Plant is fully permitted for production of up to 750 tonnes per annum of neodymium-iron-boron ("NdFeB")” so I assume if the plant is certificated/permitted to 750tpa then no further expansion required for this limit, else how could they permit the plant for 750 if it’s now installed. Is that how you read it?.

Magic, I can understand your confusion but the big difference between the RNS from December 1st and today’s is the tpa limits, Decembers tpa limit states 350tpa.

Aldebaran, I heard a few people stumped up 12.5m on this, last week, and now it’s mostly smaller trades left. The fact that both you and Kat are posting suggests the next few months could get interesting — neither of you would usually post on a quiet, no-news day.

Great find Floyd81, this looks very aligned for the next Germany expansion piece, and would give a closed loop end to end advantage. The demand for electric vehicles is going to rise further given the highlighted vulnerability and cost of the oil supply chain.

Jimzi, the term in the RNS is acquisition, so don’t think it’ll be a stock option, realistically the options for this are either going to leading or lagging our processes, so a lagging like GKN plant, or a pre process cycling facility. I doubt it would be a recycling business as stated yesterday, as we already have this.

When was the construction announcement:- Lancaster is working with the Polish company Grupa Azoty Pulawy S.A. to establish a rare earth separation plant in Pulawy, Poland, with construction to begin in 2026. The facility would be only the third rare earth separation plant outside of China and would represent a major breakthrough in diversifying supply chains.
