Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Anyone who has ever seriously traded smaller company shares knows a big seller doesn’t sit at s single price shovelling out shares. Its a game - selling at increasing prices or not selling when demand weakens. Maybe MMs know all or maybe they don’t!!!
I wonder how many of you were blue buttons in old Throg street?
I’m hugely bullish and have only ever bought BPC!
What I’m saying is the shares will not move up significantly until its clear there will not be another Placing. Its still needed IMO. I’m also targeting > 30p /40p after a discovery end January. What is ignored is the value that will be demonstrated by proving this new petroleum province in Bahamas. What i fear is the BoD issuing shares a 25-30p to raise money to chase the rainbow in Trinidad, Surinam or Uruguay.
Surely a bit more CASH is needed - hence the restrained sp moves. Once Perseverance#1 is fully funded things can take off but another shock Placing is needed.
How big and at wot price i don’t know or When??
The BPC sp could move big If there were to be an additional Agreement with Stena ( eg going further than the existing Agreement) . Might not quite be a Farm out but maybe a funded second well before Icemax leaves Bahamas... eg B South or possibly C......??? Dreaming or not..
Was such a deal hinted at in the RNS?
A reminder of the zillions of shares still to hit the market. This will be a muted ride.
How many more shares do they have to get rid of at 2p????
Too much dissimulation from this BoD over the last 10 yrs. no one can believe a word they say!
BPC didn’t need to buy CERP to drill Perseverance. Thats why the sp is down on the deal. Its cost LTHs a fortune in future value. Can’t see why the dumb sheep voted for this!
LTH do have a fully justified grievance.
The CERP acquisition and the BoD’s newly adopted career enhancing “strategy “ is likely to prove very bad news for shareholders. BPC has no cash but the board now need to get hold of money by hook or by crook. Hence the likes of Trafalgar (who had lent CERP money and got BPC shares in lieu) dumping BPC shares whenever demand for the stock shows any sign of life. Welcome to dilution . Don’t get taken in.
20p is the new 87p. What a sad story!
No large company would support BPC via a minority shareholding and be at the mercy of the BoD’s whims. I’m only sorry i have a minority interest.
Issuing shares of BPC to pay for anything other than Perseverance #1 is terrible for shareholders . The BoD must have forgotten everything they have told us about of world class potential in Bahamas. Its will be a sad day If the CERP purchase goes through.
The CERP acquisition proposal is admission by BPC’s directors that Perseverance will not be drilled anytime soon. The risked upside is so much greater In Bahamas than Columbus In Trinidad that Its crazy to buy such a rag tag company without such an assumption.
LTHs like me and many other shareholders feel shafted by this acquisition of Columbus. If it was genuinely a route to funding Perseverance #1 we might be supporters but it looks like a Potter way of pulling the wool over our eyes as management extend the lifestyle company. This broker deals being disclosed seem to be controlling the sp to see the deal through. Then ... oops.? Thoughts??
The best thing that can happen is for this bad deal to be dropped and funding for Perseverance to be confirmed. Shares would go up and we’d all know what the company was up to! Buying CERP is a treacherous thing for the company to have dreamt up.
BPC’s deal in Uruguay is a warning for shareholders of what the BoD may do if there is a chance to use money from a discovery in the upcoming perseverance well. Great shame.
No kidding. And holding millions of BPC for expected success in Bahamas not some new sideshow down Montevideo way.
Yes I am grumpy and for good reason!
BPC Is not BP or Kosmos and have not demonstrated their ability to finish one job in Bahamian carbonates and now they are spending money i subscribed for Bahamas on some new project a world away. What a shower.
