What would a seller think if they had sold at 1.5p with no news or update for months and then find a sudden announcement and it’s 5p plus?

Without unpublished info who knows. With all this time passing Logic says something is wrong. What can that be- BPC board wanting something unacceptable, GoB issues (not likely) or is the geology not what we think? We have learnt that “near term” in BPC parlance is 3 > months. LoL

Drilling chance of success is one thing, but what is the chance of funding? The sp suggests it’s 1/10 or 1/20. Anyone agree? If so this can’t be logical unless there is still a v low confidence level on some element that we don’t know about . Is it still politics, I think not at all , in fact I see GoB reconsidering our licences as soon as they have the opportunity . What can it be?

The Exclusivity period was an expensive delay for BPC. I’m not sure it was worth $1m. Hard to know how or why either party entered into the Agreement without a good & confident route to a successful Farm Out. Who was careless or incompetent ?

To put things in perspective please recall the money to do the 3D was raised at over 18p. I recall it was about £40million so a move from 1p to 2p is not significant. Does anyone know the real story of the board row at BPC in 2011?

LTHs will remember BPC were about 3p in 2010 before any excitement started. We are only here at tuppence because of the ridiculous time it’s taken to get the show on the road. Keep taking the pills & stay calm.

Pity so little buying is going on. If those in the centre of the action had confidence in a deal surely the shares would move up - even at a snails pace. What is happening in the market tells us what is happening out there in Houston or wherever - eg Nichts!

PageofCups This is no way for a publicly listed company to treat its shareholders. Its incredible that Macquarie are still seeking yet another Counter party with whom to negotiate. Clearly after Exclusivity ended there was one prospect that has not proceeded. We have not been informed of BPC’s negotiating approach but failure to close any Farm In after all these years, and in particular the last 12 months, indicates very serious failings. The BoD ought not to be permitted to hide their incompetence. .

Without written reasons for withdrawal from the Counterparty it would be mere conjecture to say why they withdrew.

Dutch Uncle Sam has a big say in BH affairs when it comes to all matters that interest the USA. So we should not be surprised that includes off shore banking, relations with China , Russia etc, people & drug smuggling , oil exploration , aviation etc etc remember that most Tourists come from USA , most food comes from USA, most external Money comes from USA. Bahamas has many investors from USA. Let’s get real
