Shorts increasing, Martin's health under scrutiny, a director selling 25% of his holding whilst the share price is super depressed! I want to remain optimistic as S4 is my biggest holding by country miles, however the optics here look awful! Can anyone shed anything they currently see as positive for S4??

I don't understand why none of the Director or Mr Sorrell himself are not buying any shares to stop this constant bleeding! It's criminal what these shorters are able to inflict. The trading statement was positive so I'm genuinely perplexed

@Cardinal 😂. I'll elaborate. 45% of my portfolio consist of S4 shares. I know I know, diversification blah blah, to me I'm in deep and in for the long run! When I said going broke, I mean if this stock was suddenly to go to zero, it would literally decimate my portfolio. I'm, however, only investing what I can afford to lose so going broke in terms of my portfolio doesn't mean losing the house or changing my lifestyle considerably. I hope that clarifies my position 😃

@Abode by that logic, WPP should also be down in similar % terms and its not! Besides, Martin has made clear how S4 is intending to use AI to their advantage! I've got no reason to doubt his forward guidance!

@msn I truly believe there is a massive disconnect here between it's value and current price. I'm adding with any spare cash and have been doing so for the last 3 months. I will rather go broke than sell at these prices. True value, taking into account the last 2 trading statements, lies in the region of 230-240. This is crazily oversold!!

Patience required! I don't think Ignacio Garat would have reintroduced the dividend if the company was performing badly. The change of name implies the company is expanding/ diversifying! As I was getting my train from Gatwick a few days ago, I went over to their office in the lower level and causally asked the lady behind the desk whether they were busy, she replied "we have never been busier"

Its frustrating the waiting I know, but part of being a successful investor is having the right temperament, also, F... the shorters, they are not having my shares at a discount! The company is performing well and there is a disconnect between the price and its true value at the moment, this is a buying opportunity in my opinion!!

In case you hadn't noticed, the share price decline started after the news about his health!

Although there no guarantees, I believe this company will be a 3-4x from current levels as soon as the clouds have dispersed and the macro improves!

@Zach Clearly PSN is conserving cash, the right thing to do during a downturn, they are deploying some of that cash when an opportunity arise, ie Tophat. Why initiate a buyback when more lucrative options might become available??

@Zach I tell you what's a joke, someone commenting who doesn't have clue and possibly hasn't even bothered to read the trading statement! Did you miss the paragraph in which they clearly state --
"In April, we committed to invest £25m into TopHat, an innovative modular home manufacturer. This investment provides Persimmon with guaranteed access to TopHat's highly energy-efficient volumetric modular units as well as an innovative brick façade to use with our Space4 timber frame products. The new partnership will provide further build efficiencies, help manage the growing challenge of labour shortages in key trades"

This clearly shows how they are using their capital!

The risk is baked in, in fact, as usual, the overreaction has yet again been overdone. Fair value for this share with the recent trading statement and nearly a 5% dividend lies within a 1600-1700 range. The market will soon catch up! I personally have been accumulating! All it will take is a slightly change in sentiment and a further dividend increase and this will fly! US home sales yesterday also beat expectations. Don't miss the boat!!!!

The trading statement is out, no nasty surprises with improvement seen in April, strong balance sheet and robust cash position, now expecting 2023 volumes to be at the top end!

This company is currently very undervalued in my opinion!

There is a disconnect between the current share price and what is worth, it does happen sometimes and when it does, the share in question becomes a buy! The company is performing well, keep buying and sit on them. Patience will be rewarded in my opinion!

Signs of the housing market stabilising, coming into spring we see confidence in the market rising!

From my own perspective and many years if not decades of watching the markets, spring is indeed a time of optimism! With all the current negativety and fear this is a golden opportunity to acquire shares at these extremely low prices, collect the dividend and sit of them for the next few years, in my opinion, we will be greatly rewarded! Possibly by 3x our initial investment from this point onwards

Clear skies ahead soon, just remember Easyjet, Rolls Royce, the negativety was immensed and now they are double and triple their lows! When it jumps, and in my opinion it will, you definetely want to be in!!

The main thing is not to panic and let the shorters have our shares for next to nothing! This company is massively undervalued, the financial statement was good and the dividend reinstated. This will turn strongly and very soon!

The company is solid! Buying on any weakness is what I'm doing!

My strategy is to buy any dips. This share will reward those with the ability to block out the noise!

They are either looking to load up themselves or doing matey boy a favour! There is no reason for this share to be in the same range as prior to the positive results! This share should be trading at double it's current value.
My strategy is to continue ignoring the noise and to keep loading up. Massive upside with a nice dividend!
