Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Six weeks from today. News could arrive anytime between now and 18th Dec. They’ve already told us the drill location, that they’re looking for the rig, that they’ve recruited a well ops manager, identified key personnel, submitted documentation for the environmental permits and are in advanced discussions with potential partners. We are very close now folks…
TBF they lost the crowd a while ago. They are incapable of producing a stream of news - just densely packed RNS's that a lot of investors don't understand fully. The result is spikes and then drops / prolonged periods in the doldrums. You only need to look at UPL's comms strategy and MCAP compared to ours to see my point...
Hopefully the next RNS will propel us out if this cycle and warrant a significant rerate.
While we’re on the subject of what we do or don’t know, I’d love to know the reason for postponing the Timor Leste Energy Summit to 2024 -
“The National Energy event of Timor-Leste postponed to 2024
This decision was made in the spirit of ensuring the most successful meeting for all stakeholders once the government transition in Dili has concluded, all of the authorities and institutions announced and the latest developments in national energy policy decided.
We will make sure that the new event dates will be communicated to you alongside all next steps!”
Something definitely going on behind the scenes 🤣

“East Timor previously suggested it would team up with a Chinese company if Australia failed to persuade Woodside to support its plan.
Last month, Foreign Minister Penny Wong said Canberra did not have a direct stake in the project and involving Beijing in it could prove counterproductive after Ramos-Horta revealed China was “very interested” in the energy development project.”
