Is the SP finally going in the same direction as POO, or is some news going to drop tomorrow?

Couldn’t agree more. There hasn’t been any constructive news since Somaliland RNS which was in December. Sarta 6 results are due in Q3, but apart from that there isn’t really much on the horizon unless they announce a new CEO. Makes you wonder what management are doing considering the ever growing cash pile.

Is the share being manipulated? Brent is at $117, next KRG payment circa $40M due any day, other oilers up, yet we're down nearly 3% - its either to do with the fact that our CEO is no longer on the BOD, or there's something else going on in the back ground (takeover by stealth?)

GKP have announced a $50M special div today. Their SP is up 8% and is now at around 290. Anyone reckon arguments about a special div are the cause of our recent boardroom shenanigans??

Yet again, POO up, GENL down. Is this to do with the fact that they still haven't announced a new CFO and we may soon be without a CEO?

Sarta 5 was 12km away from pilot well. Sarta 6 is 6km away, so presumably less risky.

10% fall off the back of this mornings RNS is a complete overreaction. Sarta 5 was just a step out well to try and appraise the size of the field reserves. We banked $38M yesterday and the next few payments will be even more. POO seems to be stabilising and will be back over $110+ once Chinese lock downs start calming.

circa 4% rise today, presumably off the back of BP's results. The market is waking up to how much cash oil companies are generating.

Sarta 5 testing results are due this month which, according to the recent investors presentation, could 'materially affect' reserves and production. I think we could finally be back over £2 soon...

It looks like we’ll need some news to get over £2. Sarta 5 results are due in May and the next few KRG payments will be monsters. I’m planning in re-investing div.

I thought the presentation was very transparent and well worth the time to watch it...

My gut tells me this run has some way to go, but this share has thrown so many spanners in the works over the past few years that I am starting to get a little twitchy. Dare I ask where people think this could end up with POO likely to stay $100+ for remainder of the year and KRG appearing to be keeping up with payments??

Bill Higgs believes KRG are committed to paying IOCs. Payments to IOCs are not following any particular pattern (ie not slipping). He used the most recent payment as an example - 5 invoices were sent out. 1st invoice was amongst the 1st paid amongst IOCs, 5th invoice was one of last.
BB & Mirwan - Genel spent $1.4Bn. It sounds like it was pretty much dead in the water, however because of Europe's need to get away from reliance on Russian gas, the landscape has changed, so who knows? BH couldn't comment further because of arbitration.
Cash on balance sheet rather than paying down debt provides optionality.
