Peter, it's because its a new frontier. The CoS in this type of scenario is quite high, whether it's 100% is a different matter, I suspect SP was just conveying his confidence in the geology and the project and of course Alan Burns.
Irene wriggling as per usual, trying to get out of it. Be fair Jim, Irene doesn't have £225 to take part, "it" only gets a few pence a post. Don't forget everybody Irene isn't a shareholder in BPC so why is it here?
Irene I'm saying over 2,500 bopd by the end of 21 just to clarify. Now are you going to take Jim up on his challenge or are you chicken?
No mention of the production Irene, why not? Is it because it makes you look foolish.
I'll give you a challenge, I say the production targets WILL be met over the next year.
Over to you, you are going to start to look even more ridiculous than usual in the coming months.
Robbla, $23m cash at bank, a small but important difference!
GG, you really don't know the first thing about BPC do you. If you can't even get basics like the dates correct then the rest of your diatribe is pointless and leaves your credibility in tatters.
It was a compliment Chesh...:-)
Chesh, well said. Also you can string a sentence together! who knew...
Thanks Garry, no need to put up a link, SP did say that I watched the presentation. He was referring to an FPSO, perfectly reasonable thing to suggest.
Garry, with respect, you've lost the plot! BPC have just done a raise via institutional investors, they did due diligence, they have to it's a legal requirement. You are just rambling and frankly making no sense or are you being deliberately mischievous?
Garry, you do know what a FPSO is don't you? Why would I want to ring BPC in the IOM, I just use email or social media to contact various people on the board. If you'd done proper research you wouldn't use the term incompetent, the track record of several of our senior team is very impressive/competent. They are mainly based in Australia (at the moment) Nassau or Houston for obvious reasons. A serviced office in the IOM is more than adequate for their purposes at the moment. Many large multi-nationals including majors use serviced offices why do you think companies like Regus exist? Also check out virtual-headquarters.com and others. It is very common and good business practice.
With respect Garry, you may be behind the times. Why would they need a physical office and with Covid ongoing any IOM employees may be working from home. Communication is so easy on a virtual basis these days that you don't need physical premises. As a shareholder I would actually be quite annoyed if they were wasting money having a receptionist sitting in an office on the IOM twiddling there thumbs. IOM is there for tax reasons only and the historical connection to our founder, Alan Burns. Just email them you will probably get a response. It's also easy to track some of our executive team down via various social media, it's the way of the world now.
harel S2 is funded by the drill company, keep up...
Hello Litho/xyz, if you are on facebook you can just look up the BPC shareholders group and ask to join, shouldn't be an issue and it's a decent group. You don't get the nonsense that appears on here and ADVFN!
Good luck with you investment.
Hello Findme, you're right Uncas came up with the party idea but not the share price prediction, I'm fairly certain of that.
We've been on a long journey, there's no doubt about that. I remember towards the tail end of 2010 I think, may have been around Christmas time when the intraday price almost touched 27p! those were the days as Mary Hopkins would say! You never know history may repeat itself approx 10 years on, assuming a successful drill and a decent tail wind. We can all dream. All the best.
Not sure if that's correct Findme, from memory (it is a long time ago!) a poster on the old ii site called NorthernBerk came up with the 87p price target. Admittedly Uncas and many others ran with it and why not, at the same time Goldman Sachs had a long range forecast of over £6!! I could be wrong about NorthernBerk as Shedfull was also in the picture at the time. Good luck at least we are drilling very soon and there were a few doubters on the old ii board that thought it would never happen, so the "blue sky thinkers" were actually correct.
Hello Star, interesting post, but your point 1 is incorrect. BPC listed on AIM on the 2nd September 2008 and the shares in issue originally were approx 790 million. Basic details really I'm surprised that you weren't aware!
Good luck with your investment.
No!
Trek, BPC came to AIM 12 years ago this month (Sept) by reversing into Falklands Gold & Minerals so how have you been investing in BPC since 2000?!
Hello Page, by "quite" do you mean fully or only partially?!
Thanks.
Jim, why do you think this has anything to do with the Bizzell CLN? have I missed something in the RNS?
Thanks.
