There's only been one consolidation from the former BPC, I think you are referring to the rabble that BPC bought which has nothing to do with the CEG management team, but don't let facts get in the way of your misguided story.

JohnBriggs clueless as usual. Plenty of people got in at around 0.004 before the consolidation, I was one of them. That's 2p in new money so currently on 4x.

This has got a lot further to go and with seismic news and potential farm out of OFF3 on the horizon you will look even more foolish when this moves above 15p in the not too distant future. You were the man who said that we wouldn't get the farm out on OFF1, but it happened, get used to it.

Hello Genghis, yes the prospects are looking good based on current progress. A lot of people don't realise that this is a very different animal to BPC and what went on in the Bahamas.

The institutional investors know what they are doing and are falling over themselves for a piece of the cake. Don't be surprised if we get another farm out by the years end, fingers crossed because IF that happens then this will fly. Quite a few people on here have already multi-bagged, hopefully a lot more to come. Good luck with your investment.

It looks like it's being played at the moment Stewart. The MM's are keeping a wide spread to discourage retail buys and moping up the small sells to package for the "unknown" buyers. I don't know if you have tried any dummy buys but for a couple of weeks now there have only been a handful available at any point during the day. Looks suspicious.

Well as anticipated we have the TR1 RNS. Gneiss Energy and the Fitzpatrick family, what a massive vote of confidence in our project. The calibre of some of our institutional investors is very impressive as they have phenomenal resources and specific industry knowledge. Morgan Stanley, Charlestown, Goldman Sachs and now Gneiss as well as the Aussie investor connection. Some people on this BB don't seem to understand that every trade is matched and has a buyer and a seller. It appears that the smaller retail investors have been mislead in to selling by some of the trolls on this and other BB's and it's allowed the "smart money" in on the cheap! I still think that this is being held to let certain organisations in because there is clearly massive demand which should have increased the share price to somewhere around the 13-15p range by now. Just my opinion so let's see what happens if we have success in the farm out for OFF3 as these institutions are clearly expecting a significant return on their capital or they simply wouldn't be getting involved to the extent that they are. GLA, the next few months will be interesting.

Good interview with Eytan taken from the CEG website. Everything on track, updates on OFF1 and OFF3 and the farm out process should start in early September for OFF3 so not long until we see some meaningful progress. Ignore the doubting Thomas's and negative people there is plenty going on and a lot to look forward to over the next few months.

I've noticed this week that quite a few of the trades marked as "unknowns" and "Sells" are actually buys (they were mine) which does paint a bit of a distorted picture. There haven't been that many available either so it's about time this moved up a leg or two! I've a suspicion that they are still letting one or two institutions in on the cheap. We should get some good news flow over the next 3 to 5 months. GLA.

Just to clarify that my understanding is that the 50p is a target price in the nearer term, not the end price. If you check out the presentation on the CEG website you will see that they expect a share price of in excess of £3 ASSUMING that commercial oil is found (Maybe 2027?). If OFF3 is farmed out on similar if not better terms than OFF1 and the seismic campaign goes well, leading to Chevron agreeing to a drill then this has the potential to fly past 50p. Who knows, what will be will be.

Completely false narrative yet again JohnBriggs and you show your ignorance of AIM O&G exploration for all to see. Chevron have made a clear commitment ($12.5m worth plus the carry) and coms have not "dropped off a cliff" quite the opposite. The website is regularly updated and Eytan does more than enough via the various industry promotion websites as well as regular RNS's. Anyone can check the CEG website and see that timescales have been confirmed, it's not about patience it's about being realistic. There has been very good progress this calendar year and anyone keeping an eye on matters is more than aware of it. You come across as one of those people who think that they can invest a few quid and if they aren't a millionaire a couple of months later something must be amiss!! Get a life.

I see our secret "unknown" buyer is back with a vengeance! It's looking very good for later this year.

You'd have a point if JB had something to say GG, but he doesn't add any value to the debate. He just bleats from the side lines with negative nonsense that doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Now if he could put up a credible argument for the potential downside and for balance the argument for the potential upside he'd have more credibility but he never has and I suspect couldn't because he clearly doesn't have a clue about O&G exploration or AIM for that matter.

Trinidad is neither here nor there in the scheme of things and all the progress that we can expect to see over the next 6 months has been flagged and very well communicated in advance, don't you do any actual research or are you just a paid sniper? OFF1 seismics details will be reported soon as will an update on the progress of the farm out for OFF3 before the end of the year. It's only a few months, what's the big deal? Let's deal with FACTS, like the fact that Chevron farmed in and are running the show for OFF1, seismics in progress and OFF3 farm out all on schedule. We don't need constant updates all of this information and progress is in the public domain, just look at the CEG website and more importantly the fact that Morgan Stanley are a major shareholder with all of their due diligence capabilities. In addition several reputable brokers now have us with a 50p target price. We are in a fantastic place and all going to plan, get over it.

Oh dear JohnBriggs, it isn't propaganda they are facts. Chevron have farmed in on OFF1, technical analysis is being undertaken and seismics are being planned as well as the process to farm out OFF3. Large institutional investors like Morgan Stanley are buying in like there is no tomorrow, people are not taking their money off the table and the share price has risen considerably this year. Don't let facts get in the way of your nonsense story eh?!

The investment case is compelling otherwise Chevron wouldn't have thrown $12.5m at CEG as well as committing to a work program and carrying us on that. Morgan Stanley clearly believe in the "compelling" investment case and their due diligence and research capabilities far exceed any investor on this BB.

Yes the investment case is compelling but it is also fraught with risk, most people understand that even if you don't. I suspect that you will still be bleating when the share price is north of 20p at the end of this calendar year.

There's plenty of progress JB, all been flagged in advance and we know the timeline. Next up is the completion of the technical work on OFF3 with completion during Q3 this year, so not far away. This will result in the start of the farm out process for OFF3 that was hugely successful on OFF1. Then we will see the results of the seismics on OFF1 and assuming the data is good and Chevron want to proceed we will see discussions about drill targets. There is plenty of good news potential on the horizon, these things don't happen overnight it is after all AIM O&G exploration. What's not to like?

There's only one bore around here JohnBriggs, 50 to 60% in the last six months and a lot more to come. This is no AIM dog!
