Another 4 million of late reported trades from yesterday, looks like MS are taking everything and I'm convinced that they have a ceiling price, this is being manipulated IMHO. If I'm correct (and I'm not saying I am) there will be another TR1 before we know it!

Talking of "misinformation" and just to correct yet another factually incorrect statement by you, Morgan Stanley have invested in CEG, this is even covered in the recent Proactive Investors interview. If they had invested as a nominee there would be no TR1. Also please define "over leveraged CEO", I bet you can't.

Yes this is clearly being held back. I suspect that MS have said we'll take everything up to 10p. If shareholders stopped selling then they would have to raise the price, there is a lot more to come so stop selling!

GG, you would have a very valid point about JohnBriggs if he brought something to the debate, but he never does! No facts, no knowledge about the company or O&G exploration in general for that matter. He just snipes nonsense from the side lines. I suspect everybody on the BB would be happy if he brought something credible to the board but we are all still waiting.

I see we have decent size late trades reported from last Friday again. It would appear that our "buyer" is still lurking in the background or has been joined by another. Following Eytan's revelation that the Charlestown connection is attracting US buyers I find this interesting. I wonder if they are going to have to take the brakes off this a bit in the near future? Time will tell.

GG, I respectfully suggest that you need to spend 35 mins of your time watching the video as you will learn some real facts about the company and O&G exploration that will help with your understanding of the "investment" you have made, no sarcasm intended.

GG, you should be embarrassed posting that, what a load of twaddle. If you are really this uneducated on what the deal is with Chevron and Charlestown then you need to bring yourself up to speed via the CEG website and other resources. For a claimed shareholder your knowledge of the current state of play is woefully inadequate. We all know the potential downside, this is AIM O&G exploration!

The probabilities look fairly typical for O&G exploration. You may have a point about the papers ownership though!

Yes Blackbat, it is clear that the buyer (MS) and /or others is still very keen and taking everything that is available. The MM's have been struggling for some time and now that MS have raised their heads above the parapet it will be interesting to see how many other US financial institutions want to get involved. The Charlestown tie up looks like it will prove to be very fruitful. It will potentially mean sustained upward pressure on the share price for some time to come. It may also mean that the MM's will try it on a couple of times with tree shakes to scare the weak, hold on to those shares, you have been warned! GLA.

Exactly In4, the "real" optimism is concerned with the potential that CEG has. The wheels are in motion there is nothing false about a farm in with Chevron nor a major US institution Morgan Stanley or for that matter Charlestown getting in on the action. The seismics are being planned and discussions are ongoing for OFF3, who wouldn't be "optimistic"?!

Hello Sam, I believe that it is safe to say that MS have increased their shareholding from 3 to 5% ish.

Not so sure about the client holdings bit though as it's the International division and having gone back for several years worth of RNS's I can't locate similar for III, AJ Bell, Halifax Share Services, Hargreaves etc. I'm sure that they must be there somewhere. Due to the nature of the trading patterns over the last few weeks don't be surprised if it's an individual mutual fund within MS or MS themselves. We may get an update from Eytan on one of his media rounds that would help clarify it. The positive from this is that it looks as though it may be US buyers, so all good if we can attract buyers from a much larger market. I'm sure that it will all come out in the wash soon enough but it does show that the tide has turned and we are very much heading in the right direction as a company. GLA.

It's clear that the MM's are struggling with this. If you look at the trading patterns over the last week or two one or more investors are building quite a nice stake. Good luck to them, I hope GG is correct about is slipping back (so I can top up) but I'd be surprised. Another bit of positive news and this is over 10p comfortably.
