RE: 4 questions to HopefulDave4 Jan 2019 08:36
Just to add my play for the day for what it is worth
There are a number of business opportunities open to RP. He will want to develop asset for the company as well as revenue. Unlike almost all companies out there HNR does not have any debt issues. Developing new oil wells will help create a stronger asset base.
The Nitrogen play will be a winner as will the water. These are areas he will want to (prudently) get off the ground as quickly as possible to generate an asset and strong income. He will then probably look for further licenses or an acquisition. He will want to grow the company quickly to protect the company from a takeover, increase the share price. If the price is low it could entice a predator, if the price is high it could deter a predator.
Though probably... with bigger players in the field incl. Conoco .... the company will be snapped up by a predator as they will be able to throw money at the investments and RP will end up with a seat on the board or a good job in the larger company.
Time frame ..... in the summer the company was around 25p the minimum summer price would be around 35p. Some have said 20p quite soon, my view why not as there will be a few reports coming out for the different oil wells, report on the Nitrogen and the water in the near term.
From what I have seen so far, the market is not based on the company it is more to do with economic factors, shorting and good and regular information. The latter is a positive for the company potentially, Oil prices are likely to increase medium term, Cannabis is Canada's way forward while oil is down, Oil fracking is not just surviving at these prices but is improving so with slightly higher prices the crackers are on a win win as will be HNR.
Saying that a fast growing price could lead to more money being offered to fund the possible income streams or a someone coming in as competition or take over.
But I do believe the low price is down to the very low turnover of shares, a receding stock market generally, lower oil prices and a lack of good constant news coming out from the company. They are not an oil company, nor a nitrogen company, they could be a natural resources company or explorer..... how does one catagorise the company? I am surprised that there is a twitter group actually. I have found it difficult to find any info at all on HNR except from a couple of sites like this one. I can't see any rising of the SP till the end of January. .
One good point, it is highly improbable that the company will go under.
