Gooner optimistic, ya beauty...Thanks for the reply, been waiting over 10 years Pete, if (sorry when) this comes good I'll meet you for a beer. You can buy cos if I have the gooner bit right you stole KT from us :-)
Gooner I have been here for 11 years, you amuse me, but I'm getting bored now. Do you think if this happening or not, serious answer please. The rest of the ramper/deramper crap on days like this are really wearing. I presume your not a genuine investor like myself but have a trading agenda, sometimes it's nice to tell the truth and be genuine to people. Regards..
Latino, my reading of the RNS is that nothing has been signed or updated with PowerChina and at the moment it is just with NFC.
"The Company is currently in negotiations with PowerChina with the intention to include PowerChina as a party to the Framework Agreement in due course."
Hi RR2, I have never had a reply to any of my emails to the company using the shareholders info on GCM website. If you have the ear of Keith Fulton would you be able to ask if he still has no concerns re. Polo after the delisting.
The communication from the company is a disgrace.
If Tang controls GCM & Polo why does he not appoint the same nomad as GCM has. They are OK to deal with him for GCM so is something going on at polo that they want no part of? I genuinely want this sorted, Am I being too simplistic?
Oh my days Pete, crushed that I'm being laughed at....are you actually being serious about laughing at a fellow investor? I am more than man enough! Your replies makes me think that you are either a kid, which I know you're not, or a very, very immature adult, I guess the latter. You may be right about GCM, I have my concerns too but the constant negative stuff without a mention of any facts get's really boring . Good luck to all, even Gooner.
I know people say it's a good sign that they are not selling but it seems to me they have no option. I am really rooting for GCM and I have been invested a long time but if they did start selling it would be obvious that the deal is dead. If this was the case who would buy as it would be obvious that the company was now worthless. The only road then would be the compensation claim but I believe this is not going to happen unless they put forward a funded proposal to the government which is knocked back. Please just announce a deal, please..
Wow, looked for some optimism in this silent period, got ricky.
I have read the china dialogue article, is this where you get your information or do you have other info you could maybe share with fellow investors about the plan to axe the coal plans?
Can someone please explain where we are with MOU's and JVA's, I have pasted below the RNA statement where one is extended by 3 months and the other to 2021. Would be good is someone clarified where we are as I am getting confused. Still no mention of us being included in BRI after all this time and that is what the chinese were tasked with.

GCM Resources plc
("GCM" or the "Company")
(AIM:GCM)
Extension of MOU with NFC and PowerChina
Extension of JVA and EPC Contract with PowerChina
GCM Resources plc, an AIM quoted mining and energy company, is pleased to announce that, further to its announcement of 11 July 2019, it has agreed an extension of the memorandum of understanding ("MoU") with China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. ("NFC") and Power Construction Corporation of China, Ltd. ("PowerChina"), for a further three months, on the same terms as previously announced.
The extension enables the Company to continue to progress the formation of a strategic partnership to jointly develop the Company's proposed world class high grade coal resource of 572 million tonnes (JORC 2004 compliant) at the Phulbari Coal and Power Project in North-West Bangladesh (the "Project").
In addition, the Company is pleased to announce that, further to its announcement of 17 January 2019, it has agreed the extension of the Joint Venture Agreement ("JVA") and definitive Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contract ("EPC Contract") with PowerChina, for a further 12 months, to 17 January 2021, on the same terms as previously announced.
As it's so quiet, what are peoples thoughts? Are talks ongoing? If the talks have stalled would the chinese not have lost patience and walked away, if they have should we have been informed by now. No major shareholders selling gives me some hope that things are still proceeding but this continual silence and erosion of the share price is getting quite concerning from what we expected on the news we received over a year ago now. Any thoughts appreciated.
